I just heard that this week's AARN claims that Tyler is racing in central PA again this year. I'm sure a lot of people will have varying opinions on this, and will make those opinions VERY well known, on this and other forums. I guess what surprised me was I had assumed that with his recent legal issues, travel may be an issue. Either way, here's to hoping that he gets straightened out and can put his troubles behind him.

Its their money and not mine but damn, alot more deserving drivers out there today if this is the case. (this will eventually turn into a TW bashing thread in no time)

Do you think the Cubs can win it all this year?

If the news reports are true, and he did lead police on a 3 state high speed chase, he isn't going to be in Penn. very long. A friend of mine years back led police on a 2 county high speed chase, let alone a 3 state chase, and he couldn't leave the state for a very long time and spent over a year in the clink. And he had a fairly clean record. I think TW is going away for awhile unless the facts of the story are not true. Seemed pretty cut and dry to me though. Even if he doesn't spend a long time in prison, he will not be leaving the state without being considered a fugitive. And, it won't be hard to find him if he is racing in Penn.

If the season ended right now, they win the division and have at least one home field playoff series. Too bad they have to play for the next 6 months yet.

Don't worry though, they would lose at home in the playoffs, and find some poor sap in the stands to blame it on....

They'll be a decent team this year. In the midst of a rebuilding process. 2015 looks to be a golden year!

Here are the charges he faces that I found on StGeorgeUtah.com....Walker and McDonald face a series of class B and class C misdemeanors related to drug possession and alcohol. They also face two drug-related third felonies each. In addition to these charges, Walker also faces a class B misdemeanor for DUI, and a third degree felony for fleeing from police. The article states they had a court date but it was continued to March 11th but I have not been able to find how that court date went.

Our legal system goes on at a slow pace for ever and ever. OJ Simpson got off with every one including his layers knowing he was guilty. I have been involved in a law suit for over 20 years against some drug companies. Its a bunch of us against a few drug companies, they will fight it out with us till most of us are dead, then they will win. I hope Tyler Walker will be able to beat his demons. There are so many well known people out there addicted to drugs that you know nothing about. I read an autobiography of a well known singer. He was taking 20-30 dexedrine a day, then someone gave him a sample of cocaine. He snorted cocaine every 20-30 minuets a day and went a week with out sleep. He did this every week and spent up to $1,500 a DAY on cocaine. After 20 years of addiction he and his wife went to a house near the desert and they licked the need for cocaine. He went to his car in they drive way and got out a $10,000 bag and flushed it down toilet. And by the way, you guys that think smokeing weed is ok, you are part of the drug abuse problem.

At some point Tyler Walker needs to deal with his demons. So long as people keep giving him another chance it will be harder for him to change. Racing cars should be pretty far down on his list of important things to be doing. I hope that he gets his life straight, and maybe a few years of car owners telling him to get lost would help that situation. When it comes to someones life, racing pales in the grand scheme of things. Tyler Walker needs to be shut down. Until he has his legal issues wrapped up and his personal issues under control I hope that he does not end up in a car. I am not saying that he should never race again, I am saying that he has bigger fish to fry at the moment then to be worrying about his next ride.

I am fit to live with... At least for a week, as you will find out in July.

At the old Tulsa Speedway when the Oil Capitol Racing Association ruled policy there, one of the rules stated that anyone with a felony conviction could not compete. A good rule in my opinion. I doubt that a rule like that applies anywhere today. Any comments??

Follow my scenario please.

Joe Smith, at the age of 15, breaks into a store and steals items over $500 (felony) in value. He is caught, found guilty and serves the penalty issued by the court.

Ten years later we find Joe is married, has a steady job and helps out a friend with his race car. Suddenly Joe finds out he is a better driver than pit man.

So, in your eyes, Joe should not be allowed to race because of his felony conviction?

I'm sure Joe is glad you were not his judge!
