The sad thing is there will still be people sticking up for him. All that talent and opportunity wasted.

I always wanted to believe in him and really enjoyed watching him race....I will leave the bashing to all the other people on here who will jump at the chance....Thing is he is an addict and needs help and without it probably won't see 40...

I'm with you on this one. Tyler was a tremendous talent in racing but I'd like to see him get it together regardless of whether or not he ever sits in another race car. I wish Tyler the best and hope this one is rock bottom and gets his attention.

Damn I just saw him at the chili bowl three weeks ago . Didn't take him very long to step on it.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

I am not sticking up for him but knowing him I always kept hope he could beat the addiction at some point. Another waste of talent won by the dark side. I wonder if dad is going to help him out or let him deal with it to finally learn a lesson ?

Once a doper always a doper. I guess all he's going to be doing for many years to come is being Bubba's little butt buddy. Sorry I call them like I see them. (squeal like a pig)

My son just sent me that link. I watched it then came here to see if it had hit here, yet. I've been one of his biggest fans and supporters on this forum. I'm not surprised. I'm pissed off and sad. Such a waste of such pure talent. Way to go Tyler, I'd say that was pretty much the final straw on his racing career. It's like my high school football coach (then retired) told my son upon meeting him after a junior high football game. He wanted to meet him cause he saw talent. I introduced them. They talked awhile and one of the last things he told him was, while holding his hand sideways in front of my sons neck, "Son, you have a god given talent from here down. From here up is up to you." I'll never forget that, because it's so true.

Your an ass . Once a doper always a doper . You must be one weak SOB . Ppl change there life styles all the time . And if and when he wants to change his he will. I've known some very hard drinkers and hard dope hitters that live cleaner and better than most on this forum. So don't be so blind and wake up.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

I'm with both of you. I always thought Tyler was a great talent and I loved to watch him race.
But he's an addict and he needs help; and hopefully this will be the time he decides he's hit rock bottom and has to do something to save himself from this illness.
My heart goes out to those who love and care for him. May you all find the help and guidance you need to deal with this.
Whether you ever race again or not, Tyler, I hope you decide to get help!

I agree with both. Great talent, just needs a lot of help. I guess he had the right mindset of racing, just wrong people to race.

I can assure you he will get no help once he is in with "bubba" as someone above indicated. The programs on the "inside" are a joke and many of those who get into the program do so for two reasons:
1. It removes them from having to work.
2. They get a six week "out of prison early" pass.
I am sorry to see such a talented person succumb to the evils of drugs. I have watched them destroy many..including my baby brother. It is horrible!
