Hey, I don't know if this is true but I "heard" Jeffy-Poo broke his mirror when he swung his purse at one of Boyer's crew!

Well, a little door banging is one thing but to intentionally take out a driver, especially one still in the Chase, is plain stupid.

Jeff's actions were not those of a 4 time Champion. I know he's had run ins with Bowyer, but to do what he did with a couple laps left in the race, take out not only Bowyer's car but that of J Logano and E Almirola and this 4 car pile-up dumped oil all over the turn. This caused another wreck when the race was green lighted. What if Jeff's actions had of collected B Keselowski, who was right behind the mess?

Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER

racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint

Napcar has exactly what it wants. The ratings for the final race of the year will be up thanks to this. They'll give him a little slap on the wrist and everyone will be millionaires when they wake up the next morning.

No, it did not cause another wreck. That wreck was caused when Jeff Burton turned Danica into the wall. She left the scene on fire from the massive oil spill her car was leaving.
What was the most disgusting thing about the race yesterday was NA$CAR's diregard for driver safety and not ending that race under caution.
Bowyer vs. Gordon? Bowyer got what he had coming to him. It's just too bad Logano and Almirola were swept up into it.
Those bitching that Gordon should be suspended must have subscribed to the Pussification of America and must be following the politically correct bull$hit anymore.
And, am I the only one thinking that the Heads of NA$CAR are secretly wringing their hands together thinking "Excellent!" after yesterday? They desperately needed something to get the public's attention because the TV ratings sure suck, attendence is still down and you can't entirely blame the economy. They needed something to happen and they got it.

Here's my take on it.
Under any other circumstance, NASCAR throws the yellow when someone hits the fence and is spewing out debris (which Gordon was), so no yellow meant Gordon was allowed to stay out there with a FLAT TIRE (kinda sounds familiar to the World Finals if you ask me), and he ended up taking out 4 cars because of it (he got the car that flattened his tire and 2 others were victims).
Gordon and Bowyer have gotten together MULTIPLE times this season with Gordon 99% of the time being on the losing end (getting spun, crashed or having a tire cut down). He'd had enough and took matters into his own hands (so be it).
Boo-Hoo, Bowyer was in the Chase. FYI - So was Gordon during some of the run-ins with Bowyer in the earlier Chase races. Drivers have LONGGGGG memories of who's wrecked them, ran into them, or run over them (that goes for ALL racers in ALL divisions), what goes around ALWAYS comes around.
Do I think NASCAR will do anything to Gordon? They may fine him $25,000 (and his crew chief as well), but the bottom line to them is eyeballs watching on TV and $$$$. Gordon intentionally wrecking Bowyer just got NASCAR on every newscast all across the USA on Sunday Night. That is GOOD FOR BUSINESS to NASCAR. The TV Promo's for this weekend will probably feature the Gordon vs. Bowyer theme as much or MORE than that of Keslowski vs Johnson for the Title. Why? Becuase controversy sells tickets.
Gordon's biggest problem was that he admitted he wrecked Bowyer on purpose. They had just black flagged Gordon and were calling him into the pits and Bowyer tried to pass him on the inside?? Gordon was going down pit lane had Bowyer went around on the outside or slowed down and waited for Jeff to peel off the track (they ALL monitor each others radios, if Bowyer and his crew were really thinking they had a shot at the Cup title, they would have told Clint to back off to make sure they finished the race and took no chances.
Instead they all made themselves look like the hillbillies that they get accused of being when they had the "altercation" in the pits.
Bring on Februry 2013 and Volusia and East Bay, isn't this a sprint car message board anyway??

They should park Gordon also!! I would like to see Boyer beat Gordons ass so bad he couldn't race next week suspention or not. What a way for a proffesional driver to act. IMO Gordon is an ass in the highest degree.

Boyer got we had coming...and Nascar got what they wanted...a finish line wreck and Danica rolling down the track...debris in the racing line and a dumb@ss in the booth and on the flag stand keeping the race green for the wreck to develop.

Gordon and Bowyer, two destined for sainthood after this exposition, then Gordon admits he was waiting on him and Bowyer is just not that good of a driver yet, if he ever will be,maybe he would have been Richards bad boy had he stayed at RCR. Just remember how bad RCR wanted Jr.,NOT, and he had Clint and he couldn't keep a sponsor the way he tore stuff up and now Pecks bad boy is leaving so I feel Napcar should sit both drivers down this week and start them fifty points to the minus at Daytona and they must race their way into the big one and Nascar should give all teams involved in their oil spill boo boo 10K and promise to do a better job.

I'll start by saying I've been a Bowyer fan for years, (since he's from my home state of Kansas and he was driving my drink of choice Jack Black 07), so take it for what it's worth.
Yes he's had incidents with Gordan (which I disliked since he jumped ship from Ford to Chevy in his early years) and his pretty boy pansy ass attitude! But for cars with fenders- 'rubbin' is racing and it seems to be about even on who has done the rubbing between the two.
Anytime you intentionally take some one out- whether its for a win or retaliation then you need to have the book thrown at you! Racing is a contact sport and people do some stupid things going for a spot- but intentionally wrecking some one is always uncalled for and unless you are an owner/driver- you are costing someone else a lot of money.
Honesty is the best policy so Gordan admitting he did it on purpose is a positive- but taking someone that had a chance to finish second (maybe on a long shot first) in any division is assanine! I wish Clint could have gotten to Jeff on the front straight and settled it like men- then we would find out who is the bigger man Jeff or Clint- (I bet Jeff would have backed down, but we'll never know for sure).
Didn't USAC penalize Levi Jones for an intentional take out of Stanbrough?
Sorry to be so long- but it was a total bush league thing that Gordan did.
The last line of the National Anthem should be "Let's go Rac'n"
