Just wondering if anyone has this and if it is worth getting, and how do you go about getting it? I am mostly interested in the Sprint Cars and the Late Models. Thanks.

I have it, but I haven't raced online yet.
I bought it on Amazon and then you can go to http://bozracing.dirtshed.com/dnn/Home.aspx for the sprint car mod. My goal is to get a little better before I start racing online so I don't make too many people mad by wrecking them.

I'm interested in getting it. Where do you have to purchase it at? And what is the process to get all of the sprint car and late model mods?

You can get a hard copy of the game here http://www.amazon.com/rFactor-V-1-255-Pc/dp/B000VOSQ0Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1344883323&sr=8-2&keywords=boz+racing
Or you can just get a software version here http://rfactor.net/web/rf1/buyonline/
And the sprint car mod is free here http://bozracing.dirtshed.com/dnn/Home.aspx
Not sure about the late model mod.

Rfactor is a worth wild thing.
Go to www.sprintcarsonline.com to get everything for online dirt racing.
I run upto 3 league races a weeks. Sitting 3rd in points in the Winter Series at Sprintcarsonline.
We have upto 25 people online on our server from around 7pm Australian Eastern Standard time for about 4 hours a night. Think it's like 3 or 4am on the west coast so i would say 6 or 7 on the east coast of america
You also need to get teamspeak 3 - if you do that can login to the sprintcarsonline teamspeak we can help you setup your system.

There's also some vintage style sprints right around the corner (mid-late 80's body styles) and if any of you are into super modified racing you can get the mod at my site www.jcrtracks.com

If you have a desktop then get it. If you only have a laptop, don't bother, unless it has a very fast processor.

Processor speed isn't everything in gaming. Yes, it's important but, you could have the worlds fastest cpu and it could still run like crap in a gaming situation if you don't have the other things (good video card, sound card and good ram)to go with it. It's not terribly expensive to put together a gaming machine that would run the sprints quite well in rfactor.
There are also quite a few real world drivers that like to compete online in the sprints during the winter months. They often are at the top as far as lap times and finishes so, it might be a good indication of how accurate the cars are in the game/sim.

These guys here have a real good late model mod. As well as IMCA style modifieds, and street stocks. You have to sign up to get the downloads, but they are well worth it. http://www.dirtworksdesigns.com/
If you want a good wheel for not a lot of money, look into the Logitech Driving force GT. It's a real nice force feedback wheel, and will work on the PS3 if you have one. I have one myself and really enjoy it. You can get them on Ebay pretty cheap right now.

I'd like to see Turn 10 (the makers of the Forza franchise) create a game that involves sprint cars and various other dirt racing.
Just my $.02
