Who of u that are on here r coming to the nationals? R u coming to the 360s or 410s and how far r u coming from? Im only 3 hrs away so im lucky, going to try and hit friday and saturday of 360s and come back for all of 410s. Just curious hope u all have a fantastic time!

Coming from Minneapolis area for about the 20th consecutive year. Thats about 300 miles and 5+ hours of driving. Hoping to come on Friday of the 360 Nats and staying straight through the 410s. I'll be rooting for Dollansky, Heskin, Tatnell and a lot of good close racing all week.
I think it's a real crap shoot this year with no real strong favorite.

We'll be coming from Grand Forks, North Dakota for our second trip to Knoxville but our first trip to the Nationals. We can't wait for four days of non-stop sprint car racing. My wife will be cheering on Dobmeier and I'll be cheering on any underdog -- as long as the racing is good, I don't care who wins it.
I think the drive is around nine or ten hours.

I'll be back again for Nationals number 18. Flying in on Tues the 7th from Winnipeg Canada. Looking forward to great racing and good times as usual.

I'm Knoxville bound on the Saturday for the 360's staying all week, my journey is along one all the way from Nottingham England UK about a 8hour flight to Chicago then we are driving the rest! It's my 3rd straight year cannot wait for great racing great people and some nice weather as English summer only consists of rain!

I haven't missed a Nationals since I started going in '95 but I always lived in Iowa and had family within 30 miles of Knoxville. This year I'm flying in from Germany on the 1st. I will be taking in Sat and Sunday and then Wed thru Saturday while staying at Rathbun.

Travelling from Melbourne Australia for my first Nationals.
Flying time - 1 1/2 hours Melbourne to Sydney, 15 hours Sydney to Dallas & 2 hours from Dallas to Des Moines
Here's a question. What's the quickest way from West Des Moines to Husets Speedway in Brandon SD? I want to get to the AllStar race on the Sunday night.
Best to go west on the I-80 & then north on the I-29 or north on the 35 and then west on the 90?

mnmain, I've driven it both ways, not sure which is quicker. I prefer the I-80 to I-29 route. Driving across SW Minn. on I-90 seems like it takes forever. Depending on how far out in West Des Moines you are the I-80 route might make more sense for you. Maybe some of the Des Moines folk will have better info when they wake up today.

Be there Aug 1st until the 12th. Coming from Bixby, Oklahoma via the eight hour drive pulling the camper. Hoping to score our third straight 360 Nationals title with any number of our customers and our 8th or 9th overall title. Hoping to score 410 Nationals victory number three as well.
Main thing is everybody travel safe and have fun!!!

I will be walking 5 minutes from home in knoxville for my 29th nationals in a row. I plan on seeing all 10 nights of racing. It doesnt get any better than southern iowa speed week! I hope you can all make it, we love having you in Knoxville. Safe travels.

I will be heading down from Sioux Falls for my 3rd Nationals!
mnmain.... You will save about 30 minutes by taking I-80 to I-29. (Although, I-35 to I-90 seems to be a little less congested and a little more relaxed drive).

Coming from California but originally from South Dakota. Been going since 1988. My trip will start with Osky and end at Huset's for the All Stars
Take I-29 all the way to Sioux Falls. I've tried the I-35 route a few times just for something different and because of road construction on I-29 and every time I've been pissed that I spent an extra 50 minutes on the road. Enjoy your trip.

My 7th nationals. Comming from Big Lake, MN ( 5 hour drive). This will be my 4th year by myself. Staying in Pella and plan to do a lot of golfing at Bos Ladin.

4 1/2 hour drive from northwest Illinois. Coming to my 10th nationals in a row. Only coming for the 410 show though. Family vacations eat up the rest of my paid vacation from work. Marking the days on my calendar.
