Who cares what you consider him, just be glad the kid is doing a great job!! After the accident last year he is lucky to be walking, let alone driving a race car!! I mean go to his face book & see the pictures of his leg!!!!!!! It hurts me to look at the picture!!

Posse or Outlaw, what a dumb question. A dumb post I might add.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

I think he is a good kid with a lot of talent. Right now he is an outlaw. If he can't hang with the big boys, which seems to happen with the posse members, he will be posse again. Seems to be a recurring theme. Just my two cents. Remember, just because they can hang with the outlaws in PA, doesn't mean they are cut out to race with the outlaws, three days a week, for six months at unfamiliar tracks. I wish him luck. Need some new blood soon, or these old geezers are going to make everyone their Beotches!!

If he is Posse, 1 debate is over. Indiana has bragging rights over everyone with 21 Outlaw Championships and 600 or so Outlaw Feature wins at over 100 different tracks in the U.S. Followed by the racing meca in the Dakotas a distant 2nd.

I would say he is outlaw right now. I am just glad he is driving and having fun doing what he loves to do.

Who else has tried to run with them recently from PA? Lucas Wolfe? That's about all I can think of, and with a two person team of him and his dad he still finished ahead of the dude and prince Kinser last year. Probably a few spots ahead of you too.....

Exactly. If the G-man were still alive he would be right up there with the best of the Outlaws.

Couple other young guys coming up right now in PA. Aaron Ott's got some pretty decent support, and Brent Marks is a proven winner at this point. Neither are drinking age.
Besides, everyone talks like Darrah was the best PA had to offer. He was good here, no doubt, maybe somewhere in the 4th-6th best. That's about where he is on the road thus far, we'll see if it holds, hopefully he has a good showing considering what the last year has been like.
I know the top drivers in the WoO are the best in the world, but if you want to see the deepest fields of talent, come for a weekend and watch as 15-18(28-32 car counts without a sanction in town) winning drivers race on the big track (grove), and the short track (lincoln), for a total of $35 all weekend. Best deal in town, and proud as hell to support it and the guys that do it.

Are you talking about Doug Wolfgang, from SOUTH Dakota......or are you talking about Donny Schatz from NORTH Dakota? You did get one thing right for sure though, the 2 words "meca" and "Dakotas."

...kinser has 20 not 21, and 2nd most wins is Sammy, who is from TN. Not Dakota's.

Probably means total championships. Where was Mark from? And he had two. So I'd say Indiana has a total of 22.

Was also thinking of Hodnett. Did he run a season or two with the outlaws? He had SOME success, but didn't sustain it if i recall. Look, not trying to get in a pissing match, just stating the facts. No PA posse member has come out and put a strangle hold on the outlaws, ever. I would have no problem with Cody coming out and whooping ass. Just saying history is not yet on his side. Even when the PA guys show up at other venues across the county, although they show respectable results, they are usually beaten by the outlaws.
By the way, finishing ahead of Dude and prince Kinser will not keep your outlaw dreams going. only winning will. That was my point. If Cody can break thru and win some, the future is bright. If he can't, both he and Lucas will be back in PA running. (not that there is any shame in that)

Hodnett is originally from Memphis, TN and started his career there before running with the WOO for a few years. Then he came to PA. I agree that no PA driver has gone on the road with the outlaws and dominated, but Stevie Smith didn't do too bad. Most, if not all, of PA's best drivers over the past couple of decades have been content to run at home instead of going on the road full time. Cody has the skill. The biggest thing other than new tracks will be to adapt to the aggressiveness that the WOO drivers race with. It's no holds barred out there every lap with those guys. In PA they tend to race a bit more...well, clean. Clean racing won't get it done very often with the WOO.
