the new guy deserves it. I hope he has a lot of luck like Pittman did out there. I will miss him at I-55 but this should help his career.

Maybe because it's the only place were they can find a ride. It must not be to bad or they wouldn't return.

Maybe some of the outlaw drivers have gotten smarter and realized that the WOO isn't what they used to be. As I see it, the good days of WOO are gone. To many big shots, sitting at a desk and collecting big salaries off of the top and surely not looking out for the welfare of most WOO teams. Racing schedule is a joke this year, points fund, well wheres the increase in that? These guys haven't had a raise in the payout since when? Before long maybe they will rename it Stewart and Kahne racing series. Thanks to those two guys, theres still enough teams to keep WOO going. Now before I get hammered, let me say, It's just my opinion. Another WOO team done, and the driver is going Posse. If Woo would of gotten rid of just one of the big shots, maybe they could of saved a few jobs! But than again, I'm sure they all have each others back!

I can't understand why people sit and wait for the outlaw schedule. Its like waiting for the traveling carnival to come to town. There theory is lets hit town get there money before they realize they been screwed.I started following them in 1979 at eastbay seen some of the best racing ever. Then big money sponsers got involved.Racing has gone down hill since.Done being a wing car drone. These so called SPRINT CAR drivers need to grow a pair and take the tops of and really race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!That will thin the herd of wannabe's.If you don't have the ball's to "BACK IT IN" What you doin??? We need to get back to real racing not this follow the leader shit.So come on and tell me how wrong i am.I started without wings all they have done is take out the driver.Tell me i'm wrong but any monkey can stand on a pedal. No disrespect because i'm a huge KINSER fan and he knows where he came from no driver will ever take his place in the history of OUR sport.Check the stats!!!

I don't know that too many decent locals would be banging the door down to get into Pancho's car.

Huh? Down hill? The economy is down bud, thats the real problem..Grow a pair? Wow really? You mean you can go around the track flat out, wheel to wheel, through lapped traffic with 900 horse power reved out to 9,000 rpm with 4g's sticking you to the seat to where you can hardly see the dash through all the vibration and movement..nice. Oh and when is the last time Steve ran without a wing? Big money sponsors is what let our beloved sport grow, sadly there have been some setbacks and unforseen circumstances, but hey we still get to race and/or go to the races and watch the sport we love, and with time it will prosper as it has in the past.

Go Sammy!

He's posse now........welcome aboard. Outlaw hasn't won a race in 3 years, don't blame him for jumping ship. Free agent like Shaffer or Sammy seems to be the way to go.

Why do you say that, Low quality parts, no fresh parts?

From my observations...not enough horsepower. Esh was strong at Lincoln, but weak at the Grove in that car.

When Doug was in the Pancho's car, the engines were Dick Leach's. They were brought over from the Leach Motorsports deal.

Or do you mean when Doug raced the car in 2010?

I was refering to his time in the 93 last year. Since I assume that's the car Sam will be driving.

Well, you pretty much answered your own question. He's coming to Pennsylvania because it is THEE hot bed for sprint car talent. Best competiton, high dollar races, great car owners, and many tracks within a short distance. There's so many races in our area that drivers can make a pretty good living too. Who wouldn't want to race here? There really weren't that many other rides available either, so I'm sure he was thrilled when he picked up an offer from Pancho to race in PA.

Any driver would love to come to the Central Pa circuit , for good reasons , some which were already stated here . Many races , a great opportunity , a young driver can learn even more racing in Pa then with the Outlaws , not that the drivers are not good you become a better driver on faster tracks, all the drivers help each other out , great fans , racing more side by side racing , some of the tracks in Pa seem to teachdrivers more , like Port Royal and Selinsgrove .

I hate to see Sam go North, he's just one of a few guys with alot of talent down here. I say good for him on taking an opportunity.

But I've also talked to Sam enough to know he's a racer.... and if the equipment isn't getting it done, I doubt he'll stay long.

Is this why Pittman keeps telling people he really hopes to get back on the road soon?

You can't make near as much in PA as you can on the road, the vast majority of the 80-90 races they run pay less than $10k to win. Of course, if you're an also ran with the Outlaws, and not a top 5 runner, being able to run up front in PA is a huge plus in comparison.
