Is this why Pittman keeps telling people he really hopes to get back on the road soon?
You can't make near as much in PA as you can on the road, the vast majority of the 80-90 races they run pay less than $10k to win. Of course, if you're an also ran with the Outlaws, and not a top 5 runner, being able to run up front in PA is a huge plus in comparison.

So then why isn't he back with the Outlaws? You make it sound like it is an easy game to find car owners not backed by NASCAR Cup money willing to drop a million dollars to make a few hundred grand on the WoO tour.

Pittman is a top-10 driver in the country.....of course he wants to get back out with the Outlaws. We all know how good he was in the Titan car. If a ride like that opens up on the tour, he will be one of the first people being called. With that said, he has a pretty solid ride in PA. I believe he's talking Mike into taking the car to Nationals this year.
True...you can't make as much in PA as you do on the road. But your owner is also paying maybe 1/10th of what he would be on the road. Expect an aggressive schedule from the 27.

Remember Sam's trying to take some of the financial burden off his family while still racing, even if he doesn't make a ton of money in PA it's still helping his family save on their spending.

If Sam gets a good crew chief , maybe he will do alright in that car ? don't know what the exact problem is , maybe equipment , maybe motors , but no driver has really developed that ride that well . I believe PANCHO 'S main purpose with the car is more advertisement rather then making it a huge competitive car .

DING DING DING.... I think we have a winner. Inexperienced crew. It's not that the car is junk and could be very competetive with the right crew.

What was the excuse when Pancho joined Leach as an owner of the 30? Dennis Kohler and the rest of the 30 crew came over, along with Pancho's brother Tab?

With the price of fuel, operating costs, and the fact Sam is an average finisher with the Outlaws. It is a GREAT decision for him in my opinion. However, I'm pretty sure the Outlaws are paying some good tow money and the $10K to win every night is pretty persuasive to some Drivers.!
Also, Sam could be bringing motors in with the deal. Just a thought. That would improve the engine program IF Pancho's was down on power.
Could you imagine if this regional All Star Series works out and it pulls some of the average Outlaws, Schaffer, Blaney, Wilson, and some of the PA Teams into it for the East Region. It would actually be pretty damn good racing to watch!!!
