Billy Balog wins his third IRA win of the year. Starting eighth Balog methodically worked his 17B to the front. Following a lap 19 spin involving the 3 car and front running Scott Biertzer, Balog was on cruise control and went on to win. Scotty Neitzel was second in the Rick Lemanski prepared 2W. Tommy Sexton Jr. was third in the Fore-Play Racing 83D. Fourth was the 11 of early race leader Donny Goeden rounding out the top five was Mike Reinke in the 02.
Biertzer worked all night for an excellent run in the A-main. Biertzer made life saving moves after suffering a stuck throttle in hot laps. One can only wonder how the would have played out if Biertzer and Scott Young had not gotten together.

Nice to SEE Tommy Sexton Jr 83D RUNNING IN THE TOP 3 AFTER COMPLETELY RUNNING OVER AND TAKING OUT DARRELL DODD 11 AND DESTROYING DARRELLS CAR AT WILMOT THE NIGHT BEFORE!

What a shame too when 83D runs over 11 on what was it the first lap of the heat? All the cars made the A main and you got 83D running over all these low budget teams every time they race at Wilmot. Sure takes the fun out of racing. How many cars will he crash into before someone gets hurt?

OK,guys want to rip on Tommy fine. I guess that's your right too do on the message board. But.....please have the stones to sign your name. Otherwise as a very well respected sprint car person called you, "you are weenies" Were all of you there? I know one of you that wasn't!

Hiding behind a screen name definitely makes you a weenie. Have some balls and put your real name on the computer. What are you afraid, everyone knows who I am when I post. If you genius's would pay attention this thread started out an IRA/ Balog Winning post. Why don't you see that. If you have something else to talk about start your own post and use your real name. What is wrong with people knowing who you are. Before days of these forums and fake names a rude comment might have got someone a knuckle sandwich if they mouthed off to the wrong guy. Enough If you want to comment on the IRA/Bevear Dam/ Balog Show do it otherwise start your own post.
I am still

Balog looked like a rocket. Then for the assclown who deleted the traction control comments, the track still had plenty of moisture in it. Maybe your driver just sucks.

Nice job by Balog. I was happy to see John Haeni have a pretty good night.
What do you think, does Balog have the points championship in hand or do you think Neitzel can make a run at him?

Congrats Billy n Crew on BD win. As for the heat #1 incident friday, you tube - wilmot 10-410 sprint flip. Not posting my opinion here on this, as both these drivers have been doing this long enough to know whats up, and I respect them both. Keep in mind, until the sun drops below the tree line, exiting turn 2 can literally be blinding. Some of you keyboard Capers may not be aware of this, just sayin.

Congrats Billy B
I've been going to Wilmot Speeedway for thirty years and I remember Tommy in mini mods and mods and sprints and its always been the same tune with his driving style! But he is a hell of a guy to shoot the breeze with.

I would think a driver with the 'SUPER" attached to his name would leave "the porch" to see just how super he is.
