After performing his trademark backflip in Grandview's Victory lane, Tyler Walker is now in the Emergency Room of a local hospital a with an injury that saw him dislocating his knee socket.

Edwards doesn't need to worry, because he won't ever win another race until if/when he leaves Ford & Roush.

The injury sucks especially since he was doing it for the fans!

Weak .. he will now miss the BDC and KR weekend. I was looking forward to seeing him, TK and J. Allard mixing it up again.

"It's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt."
Ouch.
As someone that has dislocated their own kneecap, it ain't all that much fun. Trust me.
As was pointed out, it is simply a way to entertain the fans in a sport that can always use more entertainment. Drivers showing emotion, good or bad, is always good for the sport. Any pr is good pr, so they say. Can't fault the guy for effort... make your own judgment about if he should have done it or not.
MAYBE, just maybe, there are better ways to entertain fans than a backflip.
Hopefully he heals quickly and entertains the fans once again... from behind the wheel.

He flipped off the same concrete blocks when he won there during the Keystone Cup and also he flipped off the stage at Port Royal after his win there......
