Just saw the latest issue of Sprint Car & Midget when I got home from work last night. Did anyone else notice the last page? It is a picture of T Dub doing a back flip from the last time he won at Grandview back in May. How cruel and ironic!!! Hope he has a speedy recovery. I have heard various rumors on all the message boards, from he has a couple of torn ligaments in his knee and he will be out a few weeks to he tore his ACL and will be out months. Whatever the real prognossis is, it was a crying shame that he got hurt. To see someone go from being so excited and happy in victory lane to extreme pain in a matter of seconds was just heart breaking.

Tyler has not had the MRI yet so no one knows whats wrong, it may be minor. friday he will have the MRI and will really know whats wrong. hell of race, last lap pass for the win Tyler was totally pumped, does not normally flip off stuff.
|
I'm sure they know what is wrong with his knee but just getting the MRI to confirm the doctor's initial exam. Take it from me, if the ACL is torn, it isn't hard to figure out. You don't really need the MRI to figure that out. From looking at the video, the mechanism of injury is definatley there. Fortunately, you don't need an ACL to drive a sprint car.

Agree, I also suffered a torn ACL and my son just had his THIRD ACL surgery a few weeks ago and is in rehab now( needless to say he is now officially RETIRED as a college football player after this latest incident) but he just got cleared yesterday to start driving a passenger car only 3 weeks after the surgery, so it can be done.

The Keen 17 team with Tyler are gonna sit out 2 or 3 weeks and regroup, building 3 much needed new MAXIMs and will be READY for the month of money.............
|
once again i dunno where you get your info from but you are 100% wrong... 3 new maxims huh.. maybe you should actually go to the shop and find out yourself.

ABSOLUTELY AGREE, that is the problem with computers and the internet, the whisper down the lane mentality is out of control, so let's hope for the best for him until we see something official from either his or his team's website.

After watching the video again I have one question. What is with the fat a** EMT standing there watching with his hands in his pockets while Tyler is hopping around on one leg grimacing in pain? That a way to lend a helping hand there buddy!! (sarcasm)

I STAND BY THE INFO I POSTED. AND IT IS FAR FROM 100 PER CENT WRONG BF&410s (maybe YOU had better visit the shop?????)...........................the new Maxims were picked up during Ohio Speed week, one has been powered coated and returned already and is being put together right now with carbon fiber body work like Kahne's cars; perhaps you have better and more accurate info? Post it, mine comes from the best source there is, including visits with the crew, and I will not divulge my sources as it is a gentleman's agreement (something I am sure you have no clue what that is).
Why does everyone want to be a keyboard hero, "I know this and you don't know jack"???????????
It's no wonder anybody credible gave up on these message boards a long time ago, and now it is time for me to do the same, "saynora, adios, see ya" Mr Know It All BF&410's as I have had my share of your attitude and "holier than thou" keyboard commando postings; You try to be nice and share info and there is always a azzjack in the crowd that has to create a pizzing match; got better things to do anyhow than associate with that type.

I don't care who is wrong about what and who has 3 new maxims being built and who's mother is bangin' which crew member so they obviously know what is going on! lol. Like I said before, what was up with the bald chunky EMT standing around with his hands in his pockets watching T-Dub hop around on one leg grabbing his knee?!?!?

What's he supposed to do? Get the scalpel and IV ready? If I freshly injure my leg, adrenalin is going to kick in and anyone within 6 inches of me will get an elbow to the eye until I'm ready to be looked at. Tyler's still in the "oh crap" stage and this guy runs up who he doesn't know and says "Lay down and let me take your blood pressure." He's getting smashed if it's me.
