I am thinking about going to the big Jackson 360 sprint car race on Friday. I haven't seen much Pre race promotion or speculation on which drivers might show up on this board yet. For me I need to get excited about this race in order to go. I was at the WISSOTA Sprint car show several years ago when Randy Millers hauler hit the electrical wires which cancelled the show. I haven't been back since. I decided that night that it would be a long time before I would ever make the 560 mile roundtrip again. Well I think I'm ready. I just need a little Hype to get ne excited. Thanks JIM L

I didn't realize that. Although my guess is that if the subject of Jackson spedway is kept positive, Stan would have no problem with it. But I cannot speak for Stan. I'm just assuming.
I am unable to find a NMRA message board on a Google search. Can anyone tell me what NMRA stands for, so I can do a search for the board. Thanks. JIM L.

Stan don't have any problems with positive feedback about any race, whether it's Jackson or any or tracks. Jim, what kind of hipe do you need, this is going to be the biggest 360 sprint car race in Minnesota all year. Expect alot of good cars and good racing.

The Hype I'm looking for is anything positive about the upcoming 360 race @ Jackson. And You helped alot with your comments about alot of good cars and good racing. I really want to get excited about this race. Thanks JIM L

Positive or negative ... really it's just an OPINION for others to read... not delete. Not everything is perfect in dirt track racing. JMO

My two cents worth.
All the promotional stuff like the autographs for a discount, has this by far the most promotioned things I have seen at any track for a long time. The money put up for the payoff IS the best payoff for 360's ever in Minnesota. It seems also to be drawing a great deal of GOOD fast cars. All that is need is fans to watch this to make it a 100 % success. The racing will be fantastic!!! I would recomend all who love Sprint Car racing trying really hard to attend.

Remember the 305 sprints are running also and this is a SPRINT CAR only show . Kudos to Jonny Mac, the Van Whyes, and all the people who are making this show happen.

I'll be in Vegas but am big time bummed I can't make this show. And I believe it was Randy Nygaard who pulled down the wires. Fall of 97', I was PISSED. Three hour drive for nothing....

Jim, I did an interview with Jon McCorkell that is posted on racemn.com Les and I were at Jackson that time the lights got knocked out and I can guarantee that you will see that they have really stepped up their program down there. Listen to the interview and browse the Jackson Speedway website for more information. If that doesn't get you excited enough to leave Badger land on Friday I don't know what will. Maybe we'll see you down there Jim.

Don't not go By what the Weather Channel says they are so far off from what the Keloand News out of Sioux Falls has.Friday 20% chance Of scattered Thunder Showers High around 75 with the low of the Mid 50's from Keloland.com.

I sure hope the rain stays away. I have been looking forward to the this race since it was announced! I'm hoping to see somewhere between 40-60 360 sprints. Wonder how many knoxville regulars will attend?? Cant wait til Friday..cross your fingers that it dont rain!
