I chatted with Jon for a while tonight, and he said that they had a virus go thru their/his computer system and hasnt been able to get on the internet or even email for all of this week.
He wanted to post alot of different updates to the various message boards and websites, but is kind of handcuffed without the ability to be online.
All I can say is that if you are a sprint car fan, this show needs to be on your list.
Alot of big names have committed to being there at noon Friday, but the biggest guess is who else will show up.
We'll see on Friday night. Come hell or high water, Jon said they would do everything in their power to make this show happen on the 15th.

Wayne will return to the Jackson Speedway where he won after starting 18th in the prelim of last summer's Jackson Nationals. The "Spring Nationals" will pay $5,000 to the winner. "We'll be running the FattFro #14AJ at Jackson with Seth Bergman's (Seth is headquartered at Wayne's this summer) back-up Shark (engine). We'll try his worn out stuff and see how we do!"

I just dropped the camper off at the track and took a peek at the track and it looks good...... dry, but good. As with most early spring shows, its hard to know what to do with the surface, particularly, when they are forcasting some moisture during the day tomorrow. Looks like from 3pm on should be clear though.
Looking forward to getting back to a racetrack.

I am up and running finally. I needed that "Security Help Center Virus" Like I needed a hole in my head.....
Anyway at the track, we did not get any of that rain Wed. morning, so we are in very good shape. We can handle some rain (hopefully we won't get any !), but some rain will NOT hurt us, and we are very determined to get this show in.
And they are calling for these showers in the morning early afternoon, and nice in the evening. So that is a plus as well.
So if there is anyway possible to get the show in it WILL happen.
Add Billy Balog (08 IRA Champ to the List).

As stated by previous posters in this thread, this likely will be the biggest 360 sprint car event ever held in the state of Minnesota. The payout, contingencies and give-aways are outstanding. Let's hope the weather cooperates and we can all enjoy an evening of sprint car racing at the Jackson Speedway on Friday night May 15. Stan M and GRP will be heading down on Friday afternoon! I am most certainly looking forward to this show, as I have been ever since it was announced several months ago. Last year saw an outstanding and quality field of cars at this show, and this year looks to top that. A must-see for area sprint car fans as well as those who have to travel a ways to be there. See you at Jackson later on today!
