Word around the campfire is....
Jesse Hockett and Daron Clayton will drive California based sprinters for the Oval Nationals.
Jeff Bland Jr. will visit Perris for the first time driving one of two Indiana team cars.
The "Phoenix Flash" could possibly make his return to Perris as well!
More news to come.....

If Hockett is driving the same sprinter that he piloted around the big 1/2 mile at Calistoga then watch out. Dude was fast and dominant. I firmly believe that he would have caught Kevin Swindell, on the second night, if he would have gotten a caution flag. I heard a rumor that the car was brand new, and probably the one he will be using at the Oval Nationals come the end of the month. Jack Slash, I assume Clayton will be driving one of the Crossno sprinters again?

Daron told me yesterday that he will be driving for Glen Crossno.
Jesse will be driving the McMillin black #2 (which he drove at Calistoga)
Jeff Bland Jr. is an exciting racer as well. He is one of those young kids who learned how to go fast with an EXTREMELY tight racecar so watch out turn one! Rumor has it that he will be in one of the Truckers # 10 cars and will be a teammate to Darren Hagen.
Another young Indiana racer Brett Burdette will bring his car out to run with Jeff Walker watching over him. (Rumor has it)
Another rumor is the one of 2008 Golden State Champ Jon Allard may shed the wing at Perris.
Robert Ballou and Jon Stanbrough are rideless as of this writing. It's a shame really. They are both way too good of racers to sit out.
We will just have to wait and see what all transpires!
Let the HYPE begin!

Someone (I am assuming from the Truckers 24Hr Team) confirmed on the IOW board that Hagen and Bland would be running the USAC western swing for the Trucker's team.

I think that Casey is going to be driving the #32 car owned by Rex Foster out of the Phoenix area.

Just curious, was that the same ride Casey won the second open comp. race at V'Ville with?

Last I heard the Kaedings plan on being there. Maybe will know more after the Trophy Cup @ Tulare. Kevin Swindell in the #10 sprinter that he drove @ Calistoga. What about the Woodward sprinter that Sammy drove last year?

I think the woodward sprinter will be in Charlotte for the Vault World Finals with either Dollansky or Tatnell.

Brandon Thomson has a 410 ride, not sure with who or what car, but he will be there in a stout 410

Darren Hagen confirmed to me that Truckers is bringing both cars, with Darren and Bland driving.
Peter Murphy is coming for sure in the Tarlton #21. He may show up again on the 18th, as well as a few others to tune up.
Kaedings have all mentioned making the tow.
I'm hoping a few more NorCal GSC or CSW drivers will shed their wings and come play...look how interesting it made Calistoga!
Someone PLEASE get Stanbrough and Ballou rides!!! It would NOT be the same without them!!!

That would be great to see 100%! Over on the norcal board the allard alliance (poster) stated that he thought that both Jonathan and Stephen would be at the ovals.

Even if JJ does enter you can't depend 100% on him being there as he may still get back in a taxicab this year (maybe pretty soon) and they are in Texas that weekend.
