We talk about how many track run 410's weekly, how many tracks run ASCS or open 360's weekly. Not the cheaper 360's with steel heads, let's see how many run the ASCS style or open headed 360's like in CA. In my area Lima runs the NRA 360's. Anyone else?

360 non-winged cars with steel blocks and aluminum ASCS heads run weekly at Manzy (with occassional visits to Casa Grande and Tucson). The ASCS Canyon division averages about 30-35 cars per show, with about 45 cars registered.

360 non-winged cars with steel blocks and aluminum heads run a series alternating between Prescott and Canyon Raceway here in Phoenix that total about 15-20 races per season. (About 15-20 cars in the club)

360 WINGED cars with steel blocks and aluminum ASCS heads (plus aluminum block 410 engines with restrictors in the injectors) run bi-weekly at Tucson. About 15 360's and 10-15 410's comprise the club overseen by the track.

Grays Harbor Raceway, in Elma, WA is the home track for the newly formed ASCS Northwest Region and runs ASCS 360 on a weekly basis.

At OKC we run 3x5 wings and ASCS motors with a different style Brodix spec head.

No wonder you ran pretty good at the end of the year. You had an ASCS motor against the flat tops.

When they calculate the 410 tracks they do not count the non-winged tracks. No bi-weekly either. Weekly winged 360's.

No weekly sprints in Florida. I don't think there are any in Georgia or Alabama either. I don't know how far north of Florida you have to go to find a weekly show.

JAH42, you seem to know more than most on here about what is going on around the country. My goal here is to compare apples to apples. Everyone is worried about the number of 410 winged tracks in the US that are running weekly and we should be. My question again is how many tracks run WEEKLY 360 (ASCS style or Open) sprints. My bet is not as many as we all thought. My point of this is to show that winged 410's are not the only ones hurting a bit on the weekly tracks available to them but that sprint car racing as a whole is hurting. East Bay is the perfect example. They had a great weekly 360 show for years with some pretty tough competitors. Stock car poeple take over and look what happens? They run 360's once in a while and have now ruined one of the best 410 specials in the country. They have made the Winter Nationals into a two day show on a Monday and a Tuesday and only $3000 to win. They will get a smaller car count than last year and an even smaller crowd.

If you are talking about true 360s, nothing in Pennsylvania qualifies then. The central Pennsylvania tracks all run the restricted 358 engine rather than a 360. The 358s are weekly at Selingrove and Trailway, but they are more like every other week at Lincoln and Williams Grove.
