Don't mean to sound stupid but what is the difference between a 358 and a 360?

I am sure someone like Wesmar could give you a more detailed answer, but the PA 358s are supposed to be cheaper and more restricted than an ASCS 360. A while back, there were couple large threads on the Grove board about the differences between a PA 358 and an ASCS 360, and the cost of each type of engine.
When ASCS tried to sanction a weekly show at Susquehanna last year, the biggest mistake they made was not allowing the local 358 teams to run with them. The 358s have between 70-80 teams in action on both Friday and Saturday nights in the area, yet none of them were allowed to race at Susky. What that meant was that Susky would have a 15-car field with the 360s, only a couple of which were competitive.
The Grove and Selinsgrove each run a 358/360 challenge race with URC each season, and the top running PA 358s are very competitve with the 360 cars.

sprintfan0 - I think it would also be interesting to know how many run 360's weekly but I think you will find that there are more tracks that run 360's 2-4 times a year with either ASCS Regions, USCS, SOS, ESS, URC, etc. When any of the 360 sanctioning bodies come into a track it is treated as a special event and I know in MI it is the promoters biggest gates of the year. I think many of the 360 sanctions are taking sprint car racing to areas and tracks that otherwise would not have sprint car racing at all.

My comment would be, I don't exactly know all the motor rules for these places. A person would have to go to each web site and check out the rules. I see the point exactly. Pa runs 358's, some parts of the country run steel heads, some carb's, etc. I just listed the ones I know that run 360's on a consistent basis, that could be every other week, etc. Actually Fl runs 360's at East Bay but not weekly. East Bay also has a limited class that runs more often, and is a 360, but again not weekly. That's about what I can supply.

There are so many different rules and I don't know them by track or association. Just if they call them 360, I go with that. With all I listed you would have to go to each web page and try and find it and in some cases it isn't there. I know there are many different kinds of heads, injection or carb, 358, do they count. Would be a long project. I understand what you were getting at on the 410. There it is much easier to classify.
For the person who listed Huset's after my list, Brandon is Huset's.
