After all the rumors and speculation, I guess we will see what direction The High Limits series will go in 2024 latter today. I might be way off base, but I do not think the average sprint car fan wants them to run a national schedule. I wish they would have kept the basic All Star schedule in 2024, along with the high paying midweek races, then build on that for 2025. Yes, I attended two High Limit races in 2023, at Grandview and Bridgeport, but that was because I wanted to see Kyle Larson race. There is definetly going to be a void in the Ohio, Michigan and Western Pa without the All Stars in those areas. I heard a rumor that FAST will attempt to put together an Ohio Speedweek, but am not sure all the OHIO tracks are on board. Let the games begin.

I agree with you, thinking the same thing.

Yes, keep the High Limit mid week, keep it a separate points title, pay the big bucks. Keep the All Stars and imporve on them, increasing the purse and creating a few more big paying races for the All Stars. Keep Speedweek.

High Limit Racing, founded and owned by NASCAR champion Kyle Larson and five-time World of Outlaws champion Brad Sweet, is expanding in 2024. The formerly named High Limit Sprint Car Series is adding events and increasing driver payouts while broadening its partnership with FloSports. The midweek race series will evolve into a 50-plus race night schedule across the country and increase driver payouts to more than $5 million.
The new season of the High Limit Racing will reward drivers with bigger payouts and unprecedented flexibility with no restrictions on the amount of non-High Limit races they can compete in. The series also will set dedicated “off-weekends” to allow teams to continue to participate in sprint car racing’s crown jewel event
The High Limit Racing national tour will kick off 2024 at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Fla. in February and celebrate its inaugural season championship at The Dirt Track at Texas Motor Speedway in October.
Former All Star Circuit of Champions events including, but not limited to, the Bob Weikert Memorial and Tuscarora 50 events at Port Royal (Penn.) Speedway, the Dean Knittel Memorial at Portsmouth (Ohio) Speedway, and the annual Rayce Rudeen Foundation race will also be on the schedule in 2024.
The prestigious Eldora Speedway will host High Limit Racing twice with a two-day midweek event in July and a return appearance in September for the 4-Crown Nationals. Eagle (Neb.) Raceway will return with the biggest Midweek Money Series purse at the Eagle Nationals.
High Limit Racing will also have two events in conjunction with NASCAR, one at Texas Motor Speedway in April, and another at Lakeside Speedway, roughly eight miles from Kansas Speedway, in May.
The series will make its West Coast debut in 2024, with events including the Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif. and the Skagit Nationals at Skagit Speedway in Burlington, Wash.

Flo's high Limit Q&A says Ohio Speedweek will still happen in 2024.

Well, that sucks. I feel like the West Coast gets shafted when it comes to big time 410 racing. I was looking forward to taking my son to the Gold Cup next year. It would have been our first trip there. He's a big Sheldon Haudenschild fan. Now it will basically be a big NARC show with Kyle, Brad, Buddy and Rico there to take the money. I love NARC as they are our 410 division, but I want to see the Outlaws. Also, Skagit will not work for them. There is already a dearth of 410s here in the Northwest and I don't think High Limit can draw more than the Outlaws already do. This likely also means the loss of the Grays Harbor show, which is the one we go to every year. I'm not a fan of Brad and Kyle for doing this.

I think adding the west coast is a mistake but one that was obvious given the ties to Cali and Silver Dollar. Other than that, I think it's a net positive. Doesn't really impact the WoO other than a few races and whatever teams leave. Big time increase in purses relative to the All Stars.

Watching Winged Nation with Brian Carter makes it sound like the Pacifc Northwest is not going to have any WoO shows. I'm sure most don't care, but it sucks for us. Thanks Brad and Kyle. Thanks a lot.

We'll see if this includes the 3 non-Eldora tracks that have WoO races (Atomic, Sharon, Attica). I can't see any of those 3 leaving the WoO if they have to choose one over the other.

I know a lot of outlaw teams past and present would be totally happy with never having to tow to California or Washington ever again.

I'd like to see the WoO change their exclusivity rule now. Make it so that you only get tow money if you make every WoO with the exception of family issues, injuries/illnesses etc. but you can race any other race anywhere as long as it isn't on the same day as a WoO event. That would make the WoO an extremely tough deal to turn down for anyone wanting to make a living on the road. Especially without the west coast swings on the schedule.

Brian Carter said on Winged Nation they are back at Port Royal in 2024 while mentioning the October swing.

I'm not saying it won't happen , but where does it say Port Royal will lose their WoO races?

Like it posted above, Carter mentioned Port Royal as he was reading parts of the 2024 schedule. So the date after the National Open will continue.

What I just saw was the Weikert memorial and Tusky 50 are now High Limit races.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Interesting looks like Carter went back on what he said about a month ago.

Not a bad idea.
But why would a track sign on for a WoO race, especially in our area of Central Pa. Why sign on to pay the sanction fee of a WoO race at Williams Grove if the same cars ran Grandview on Wednesday. There is only so much money a fan can spend and if now it will be easier to choose based on distance and ticket prices. We already talk about the fans not coming out like in the past and choosing to stay home and watch streaming. Go to closest race if they already been to both tracks before and save on gas and stay home and watch the other. There could be alot of tracks next year really hurting at the front gate if all teams can run all races. There isn't enough hard core fans to.go to every race anymore. Especially with the cost of everyday living strangling Americans.
