We all know Kraig is a good driver. I can not wonder why it seems like his car has 50 or more less HP than most the other cars. It is tuff being the owner and driver and money will only go so far. Hope he gets it all figured out for 2023 and he has a good year.

Just because your last name is Kinser doesn't mean you have enough talent to compete with the best.

Knoxville Nationals champion. I believe you don't win the biggest sprint car race in the world without adequate talent. Funding and team personnel are the biggest things holding Kraig back. Hopefully those are things he can manage to fix going forward

Kraig got his chance at Nascar in 2006/07 since winnig the Nationals in 2005 has been with Tony Steve and Lonny but tough to be a private team. Things have changed and it takes serious money to run upfront on large tracks, Kraig is still a very talented driver.

I agree the cars are so equal the crew chief and crew can make a difference. Karl was still the best due his personality . Gerkin,Brown ,Werner and Silva Allen are all crew cheifs that make a difference

A guy named Donald Kreitz Jr. Is a pretty good wrench also, the 69K wouldn't even sniff victory lane without him, doesn't get near the credit he deserves for making that car fast. Just putting a FACT out there.

You are absolutely correct, but when you have 3 humble guys like Lance Donny and Davey they all know their worth but each would rather the other gets the credit. They are a rare breed and we are lucky to get to witness it!

Looking at the Outlaw stats there were 22 races Kraig wasn't at. He had an injury but not sure if that was why he missed so many.

He missed 3 or 4? Due to injury. The other races are just races he didn't make the A. The outlaw stats only list A mains started not the races they were at that they didn't start the A.

Thanks!
That clears that up. So he didn't make the A about 1/3 of the races. Not so good. I believe he has the talent so is it desire or maybe crew chief?

0 wins 1top5 3 top tens 11th in WOO points.Shows the level of competition at top end. The point money plus being a platinum card carrier is hardly enough. i would question him missing A 1/3 of the time.He was one of the best !

Their engine program is sorely lacking but doing their own engine work is what has kept that team going, but for how long? Was told they had a kistler powerplant at some point in the season, not sure if anyone supplied some cash or what. Nice down to earth people, always grab a bunch of merch from Michalea whether i really need it or not.

No engine sponsor on website? Was Randy doing the engines? I thought he was on the website at one time but I don't see him there now.

Great opportunity for a car owner to pick up a first class driver.

Always a fan of Kraig because of his dad, but your stats don't lie. I knew that he was not performing at high levels, but when you see all of the stats for the last five years it is a lot worse than I thought. If a car owner does pick him up, it will be for sentemental reasons not based on performance.

I am always pulling for Kraig and in the pit area he is always one of the more personable drivers out there. One of the most polite individuals out there and I think there is something to be said with how he has been able to race the level he has for so long now. While yes, statistically nothing jumps out at you that may say "successful" but if you really look into it and how he has had to operate on a showstring budget, it is pretty remarkable. Most of the equipment they use is used, they are down on horse power, it seems like they use a different chassis manufacturer than most. I honestly think that if a team were to give him an opportunity he probably would see a rise in results and possibly win some races. I still think there is some gas in the tank for him, just needs the right opportunity but for now, hopefully he is able to keep racing
