I saw a thread on the forum today about Port Royal. I had to leave and didn't get to read it. Can't find it anywhere on blogs, so is HH getting like Facebook and removing posts they don't like? Or is it like anything negative about Port isn't allowed?

You got it! 100% agree! You can't tell the truth on here and get away with it. I posted, I had a friend tell me that he got hit by pebbles sitting in the middle of the grandstands on Friday night while sitting at the Juniata county oval.

Because I couldn't find it, I figured someone removed it because of the content. I have seen this before with SJDR message board. Just putting 2 and 2 together. No conspiracy.

I have to agree. Made my 2021 debut on Saturday night and the track was not good. Brought a friend for his very first dirt track race and he got hit with a few stones sitting in the grandstands. The 410 feature was like an Ice skating rink. In all honestly, that was probably the worst I have seen the track in many years. Unforunately, The Concrete Kid, Anthony Macri was racing at WVMS, and was not buzzing the guardrail to use as a barometer to judge the track conditions.

Unfortunately the track has been like this all year with this past weekend being the worst. That's why I have been going to Lincoln and SG more often. I fear this weekend will be terrible at best at the Slow, Slick Palace. They really need to take the Speed Palace down.

Yes, and my post read something like this...it is not the clay that is the problem at Port and it never was the clay.
Then I said my friend was hit by some pebbles during the feature even though he was in the middle of the grandstand. The way it looks he wasn't the only one hit by rocks/pebbles.

It's really funny how just a year ago Port was the "best track in central PA" , "the Knoxville of the east," " made the most improvements" (so now it's better than Williams Grove,) "Tuscarora 50 is bigger than the National Open", DD choosing Port over Lincoln (till he runs 14th and then Lincoln is all good again). Now since the beginning of the year, all I've heard is how Port is "disgraceful," "worst track prep in the east" "Lincoln is where everbody should be on Saturday nights"
Not directed at anyone in particular but just seems that that's the vibe everyone has this year. And I'm sure it will be different next year. It's weird living in Central Pa.

Port has the nicest facility in PA. But facilities don't mean a thing if they don't prepare the track right.

I live in realville.....not fantasy land. Port could be a great place.....if they put the H2O in and on the track. When they start preparing the track the way it should be prepared....I will stop until then......Nope.....aint going to happen!

Just out of curiousity have you ever talked to a promotor or someone involved with the track to let them know you don't enjoy the racing or track prep or whatever? That seems to me it would be much more productive than badgering them on here and getting into arguments with everyone else over it.

Yes, I have messaged Razor Steve on multiple occasions. I also talked to the other Steve a few years back when he was helping prepare the track. They know exaclty how I feel and where I stand.

I noticed that they left Mike Cleck paving help with the racing surface again for this year. We would like to go to Port but they havn't a clue! I am sure the fans will just love being hit by those pebbles from the "new clay".
I will be at Lincoln, Selinsgrove, Williamsgrove, Eldora, Oskaloosa, and knoxville for my racing pleasure. PRS is the closest track to my house and that is what the shame of all this is.....Please find the keys to the water truck.
