We know that none of the McCarls will be there via their facebook page.  With that in mind, I would assume Lynton isn't coming either.

Shit you not looked yesterday it was Jackson Friday (obviously) and Badlands Sat. Checked again when I commented above, still Badlands Sat. Must've updated schedule and website after I posted. No lie.

Obviously getting paid by Knoxville to race Sat, probably some property involved also, makes you wonder who else is on there payroll.

Was also curious.   Clearly McCarl is getting paid to stay in Knoxville.   Wonder what the agreement is.

My best guess on driver's that have been running Kville that will be @ Badlands

K. Madsen - big $$ race, I see them chasing as many of these in the midwest as possible

Matt Juhl - makes sense due to his location

TK - ditto - dumb business decision to not stay there

Others:

Dobmeier

Balog

guys from River Cities

Lasoski

BWW82

That's a prety solid guess, I was thinking the same.  I wonder what the car count would be if they ran on Sundays.

I imagine all of the drivers at Knoxville are getting paid to stay there, they'll just have to wait until the end of the year to collect it.

Property?  Like maybe a condo, or at least a twinhome? I can't see any logical reason that Knoxville would pay a driver not to go to this this race. Can you?

I did a double take when I saw Badlands on the Muddy 2 schedule as well.  I actually looked it up earlier in the week for another thread about Eldora thinking they may go there since Kerry runs so well there ( I didn't know Jackson's Opening Night was Friday which is why they won't be at Eldora on Friday).  I was a bit suprised when I saw Badlands.  Looked the day this thread started and it still said Badlands (hence why I said it above).  Then once someone mentioned it changed I checked again and sure enough it changed.

Can somebody clarify one thing for me? Is BMS running a full season, or still just the 6 races? As influential as the purse money, is season points, and every other track that may compete with the Silver Shootout is likely running a season points race.

Honestly I dont think it would add more than 5 cars if it were on Sunday compared to Saturday. Blast away boys!

Just the 6 races. Keep in mind, that ultimately, having a points race-and especialy a points fund- is to give drivers a reason to be be loyal to a track.
