With SHR changing there stockcar program to Ford, there is also talk on the grape vine that TSR will also move to FORD power in there sprintcars. Also the Wood and StanhouseJR have teamed up to belt in Joey Saldana in the 17w ELK GROVE FORD car could they also be a possibility of going to 410 ford since they already run 360 FORDS since both owners and sponsors have Ford backgrounds.
There already a 410 FORD already out there that could be re instated into the sprintcar dirt program build originally by ROUSH YATES (raced by Jason Johnson and there are a few in Australia getting around) so there is a start if anyone wants to keep on developing it.
Maybe a FORD PERFORMANCE backed car in Woo...............

I doubt it since Roth is supplying a good chunk of their motors for next season.

Truthfully we should calm down on this. As so many have mentioined on here, there is not much different between the chev and the Ford that is allowed. The far superior Ford D3 similar to what had as much as a 50 hp advantage in the mid 90s is outlawed by the sprint car outlaws. I have to wonder if Joey and Donny could handle the D3 brute force Josh Richards smashed ALL TIME win records in 2016 with anyways. Still hoping and praying for any additions in 2017. Love the sport too much to settle with the clones we've had since Mopar stopped throwing money on the sbcitis.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Did you really just question whether Donny or Joey could handle a new motor. LOL. Thankfully you already have no credibility, because if you did it would just have disappeared.
I guess you are trying a new way of approaching this...are you trying to say the reason that their are no Fords (or Mopars) in 410 racing is because two of the best ever to strap in to these types of cars are afraid of them?

Hope Schatz goes to Fords and it throws them off their game even more.
He had his hands full in PA with this year's rule changes already.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car
much less chromoly...http://www.ycmco.com

I highly doubt that any normally asparated, single non overhead cam, under 411ci engine of any kind is banned.
Show me the specific rule that says it is. If not, Your just blowing "Smoke"

I know it sounds silly about top drivers not being able to handle the power but I have been trying to think of a better reason for 20 years with no success. All the girly head and valve rules came about the same time the equally sissy weight rules started. Go check the WoO sprint rule book. I wish it was a bad dream but its true. It was done because all the good engine component companies finally started to acknowledge the racer's love affair with the sbc and also the multiple short comings of the engine. Bud Grimm and later Casey Luna were smart enough to just run a Ford and win big for years on end. But since everyone else wanted to spend a fortune and try to fix the sbc (ie put the mag where it belongs, get rid of the siamese exaust ports, put the valves at the best place etc) we now have several rules that prevent the good stuff. It hard to believe but sadly true.
Its still not the end of the world. JJ put the Glidden-developed Ford head on the podium at the world finals after about half an hour of Chris Moss/Jerermy Anderson dyno r and d. Only the Gliddens sent more chev goobers packing than the Lunas. Blaney won an All Star race on a big half mile with it as well with minimal tries. Tony Bruce even drove by Ian Madsen when he was leading Knoxville points in the mud to win a heat at the Nationals well after pulled Ford pulled its minimal funding.

Until you've strapped your sorry ass in a sprinter and given it a ride, you have zero right to question the testicular fortitude of those who do. Pretty much any racecar driver, including your late model buddies will tell you that a 410 sprint car is the most bad ass, wicked thing on dirt and they aren't even close to comparing with anything else. All you are is a car salesman. You would shit yourself if you ever stepped on 950 horsepower in an open wheeled 1400 rocket. Maybe you should just stick to selling cars and pulling your tool to pictures of Ford engine blocks. By the way, Casey Luna only won 2 titles. Both came during years when Kinser was racing elsewhere. Every other year, they were just another car getting smoked by the 11 every night. Amazing how you so easily you omit actual facts to advance your idiotic narrative.

True that Kinser was running the USA when Davis won, But they were all at the big races and the Ford won the Kings Royal at least three times and the Nationals too.
Thing I remember about that program though was early on they'd use a Chevy on the shorter tracks. Then after they went Ford full time it was either a winner or went blewie a lot. That program wasn't cheap by any means. I heard a third more for the engine and it had a few race shorter lifespan between rebuilds.
Of course then came Mopar and blew the lid off the cost of both to keep up/

Man I wish they made 950. Anything over an honest 890 would be cool. 500 would probably scare the fecal matter out of me. Thats why I buy a ticket or peak through the fence Joey would actually be fine with more ponies. Still debating on ol tequila though.

The fact that you're still debating on Schatz proves just how much of an idiot you are. Schatz is the best sprint car driver on earth. Joey is very good and I'd say he's even one of the best but he's not in Donny's league by any stretch of the imagination.

Luna had to beat Steve and Karl Kinser, Sammy Swindell before Depends and Doug Wolfgang. Its the big one these days not the big three. Youre probably right, Donny should be good enough to adjust

The year Blaney won the national, it was not a ford!!!!! If you go back to the Casey Luna time frame, wins per year were nothing to right home about. Were even worse when Jeff Swindell used them!! The ford motor was a boat anchor back in those gays, results prove it!

There won't be a 410 Ford on the WoO circuit for 2017
