I'm not racing, but I'll be at Lernerville to watch. Of the three it was the only track i haven't been too.  Originally planned on the four crown, but I've been to Eldora plenty of times.  Called a couple motorcycle buddies and the ride to Lernerville looked fun, so that's where we're going.

I'll be at Eldora. What do you ride? I've likely seen it as I ride to all the races.

Orange Honda Shadow. I've got 2 small kids so I don't get to the races as much as I'd like. Already planning for Ohio Speedweek next year.  Got 3 guys talking about taking the week off and riding to all the races and camping.

runnin30-

Do you have any dates for 2017 Ohio Speedweek?  I've heard rumors about them and PA Speedweek working together to make it a dual-sanction, perhaps with a week OFF between the two Speedweeks.  Appreciate any input on either Speedweek/dates etc.

Thanks!

Cool... I could be on any of a dozen bikes but last couple years it's mostly a red ninja 650R. I'm in cincy. Ride safe

If you've never been to Lernerville it's worth the trip (depending on where you're coming from), especially with good riding weather.  High banked, 3/8 - 4/10 mile track that can be real racy especially when it slicks off with a good cushion in the A (probably why Dale Blaney is so successful there).

With 4 Crown and Dirt Classic the car count at Lville unfortunately, might be a tad low.  There were 48 cars for the Silver Cup, but that's a more prestiguous event ($25k to win) and a midweek show with no competition so you get some All Stars, some Posse, and a few holdovers from King's Royal, etc.

I'll be at Lernerville Saturday.  Grab a Fish Sandwich and a Turner's Tea!

Going to both nights of the 4Crown at Eldora. Haven't been to it in a couple of years and its a shorter drive for me. Lernerville is a great track though and very racy. My buddy and I made the trip the past 2years for the Silver Cup and it is one of our favorite trips each year. Car count might be the lowest between the three but all 3 tracks should see enough quality drivers. All Stars Wing wise at Eldora plus I am sure a few guys like Brady Bacon will be pulling double duty or more and you have the non wing/midget racing, Lernerville Outlaws plus their locals are not too shabby themselves, then Lincoln you will have the posse and all of the qualifiers from previous races for the Dirt Classic.

Go early Saturday and check out the quarter midgets on Little Eldora.  It is a blast, and it's free.

Won't be able to do it this year. Have to watch my son who is 11months old until mom comes home from work on Saturday. Driving out Friday afternoon then make the 2hr trip home to watch him then drive back. May miss a little of the qualifying but no big deal. Maybe next year when he is a little older I will take him out with me.

Going to both nights at Eldora. Second time to Eldora, first time to see USAC there. Looking foward to the non-wing. Coming from

Knoxville, so haven't seen much non-wing lately.

The guys I'm taking to Lernerville have never been to a race before.  I explained Eldora will have more bang for the buck but the ride east from columbus just looked too fun.  That and I love to see new tracks.  Thanks for the food tips, any advise as to where to set up tents?

I love watching the kids at Little Eldora.  Last time I went I got their early and chilled alone and watched the 1/4 midgets.

It's cool to see everyone amped up for a great weekend of racing.

Where in Columbus are you from? I live in Grove City, from Hilliard. The ride east is a nice one. Might want to make sure if there are any sporting events in Pittsburgh on Saturday though since with construction going on, the interstate tends to backup. I think we took I-70 to 79 and stayed on it until we got to 228 and bypassed Pittsburgh all together. More miles but faster because of construction and traffic.

Dont know about tents or camping, may want to call the track office to check. Called the office a couple years ago and the people were very nice and helpful.

I'm going to Eldora for both nites, first time there. Then hang out at friend's place in Ohio for a few days, back East to WG National Open. Then all the way back home to Denver.....

I know, I must be crazy. Could even hit midgets in Illinois the next weekend, but that would be certifiably insane.... I do have a job! (substitute teacher, can work when I want...)

I live on the north end by sawmill. We're meeting up in Coshocton and taking 36 to 250 to 22. Then we'll follow the river north.

Just made the drive from Mechanicsburg PA to Dayton, Ohio yesterday. No construction to speak of from Washington PA (assume that's where you'd jump off 70 to go to Lernerville) all the way to and through Columbus. Ride safe and have fun everyone at the races s this weekend.  Eldora for me. With the addition of the All Stars on Saturday,  I can't miss that show.

Runnin30...if that's your route then yes you'll grab 22 headed into PA.  Around Pittsburgh Airport/Robinson area you'll grab 376 East (we just simply call it the "Parkway") into the city.  Best part of the ride might be when you come through the Fort Pitt tunnel.  The city just explodes into your lap.  It's pretty neat.  When you're on the Fort Pitt Bridge you'll take 279 N which you'll only be on for a mile or so before picking up 28 North and following it North to Exit 17 which is Lernerville's Exit (make right off exit onto 356 and go about 5 miles to the track).  Once you get out of the city area on 28 North it's a nice scenic-ish ride.

- If you have time or are feeling up to it, you can get off Fort Pitt Bridge and go the "Strip District" and hit up the original Primanti Brothers (google it).  The Strip is a pretty cool area with food, bars, old school shops, etc. (it has nothing to do with actual, you know, Strip joints).  If not there is a Primanti Brothers literally right off of 28N at the Harmarville Exit (you can see it from 28).
- There is a Pirates game Saturday but it's at night and assuming you're rolling through afternoon, you should be fine.  There's an afternoon game Sunday (1:35).  Might be something to check out even if you're not a baseball fan, PNC Park is consistently rated the #1 Baseball Park in the country.

- You can set up a tent right at Lernerville.  If you're looking at the track from the parking lot keep going Left.  The parking areas to the far left are grassy and "field like," which would work to set up tents.  There's also a football field next to the parking to the left.

- I'll be at the track Saturday mixing spectating and "work" (we're a top tier track sponsor as well as sponsoring Carl Bowser, so I'll be doing some simple social media stuff).  Stop by Carl Bowser's hauler if you see a younger guy with his right leg and full left arm tattoo'd (that's me, easiest way to spot me) and say "hi."  I can give you addiitonal tips or show you around the track a bit.  Turner's Tea will be on meSmile

If you are camping get there early, go in the main entrance not the pit entrance, to the right of the gate is a woodline, your back will be against turn one, with trees between you and the track, good level grassy spot close to the main gait, very fiew thunder huts which makes the woods nice, what you driving i'll say hello.

Good tip too with nice woods cover.  There is a house sort of near there but with the trees shouldn't be an issue.

I want to thank everyone for the tips. I hope to get there early enough to get a spot by the woods.  I'll be in a group of 3 motorcycles(yellow BMW, grey Triumph, orange Honda).  Feel free to stop over and do some bench racing.

I'll stop by the Bowser pit for sure.  I'm a short guy with glasses, and will be wearing a blue BC shirt.
