Al Pombo, a legend in hardtop & supermodified racing in California. If you wanted to be a hot dog, in the 50's & 60's, you had to beat Al Pombo.

And this is another legend of hardtop racing in California in the 5o's & 60's, Marshall Sargent, if you wanted to be a hot dog, you would also have to out run him & maybe be ready to fight him at the end of a race.
