I agree.  That practice is so lame, except for Rico because he can use the wing for a sliding board.

I think all sprint car racers everywhere should agree to end this bush league celebration.

ouch.... ;)

Thats like following the NFL & not wanting to hear about the Patriots!

Feel free to discuss any local group of racers you want, and feel free to skip Posse/ WoO stuff....

Maybe you misunderstood me. I didn't say nor have I ever thought that Posse/WOO stuff shouldn't be discussed. It's impressive what they accomplish every year. What I was saying annoyed me was the fans on both sides of the argument throwing insults at each other, like they have some stake in it. It's the same insults every year. I enjoy hearing what they do and the results. Side note I also appreciate what the Patriots do too.

Gotcha. that debate gets foolish at times, tho I'm often involved

I hate the Patriots... great to see Ravens whup 'em last nite... that Jackson  guy was great!  That goes for the Red Sawx & Celtics too (tho i rooted for them vs. Lakers when they had Garnett, Pierce & Allen vs. Kobe)

Announcer saying "that car is destroyed". A couple of minutes later, the same car rolls out of the work area with a new wing and back on the track.

At the start of nearly every race:

       And here's your line-up:

On the pole we have the defending point champion and 1989 rookie of the year in the front wheel drive / B-buzzer class- Alvin "Rabbit Chocker- one of the boys from Nunda", Johnson in the Harry's Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Clettus' roadside bar & grill, Complete Auto Detailing, Salmoniski's Discount tile & flooring outlet number 105A, powered by Cyndi-Lou's mobile cupcakes and wedding cakes by design, and Big Tex's route 42 Get-N-Go 24 hour convenince store and laundry.

On the outside, we have... vrrrrrmmmmmmm.... And there's you're green!

I thought I'd start a fun thread......Well, it's fun in my mind. What sayings have you heard while at the dirt track that if you had a dollar for every time you heard it, you'd be a rich man.

I'll start.

When the Outlaws come around for the four wide salute, inevitably some guy in the stands near me says,

"They ought'a start 'em four wide."

If I had a buck for every time my wife shouts "why don't you answer me when I call you, don't tell me you wrecked your hearing going to those stupid races" I would be a very wealthy man.

I could literally copy and paste this one from this forum for most big races, and from pretty much every track's Facebook page when they post about a bigger race.

"Do you have a drivers pre-entry list"
