Dobmier is such a good driver but his efforts don't really make him stand out at Knoxville/ he was fast this year until he got flipped by little dolansky. The heat races for classes with no b mains is a retarded system and the lack of urgency in said heat races with 20 cars vs the 35-40 car days is night and day different. Night and day isay

Speaking of which. Anyone know why Garrett isn't running in the 360 class to build up to a 410? He has caused some real nail bitters this year
Real race cars don't have fenders...

Super Chuck thinks that is a really good question. Everyone understands the kid needs laps, but right now he looks like a windshield wiper when the leaders and faster cars are trying to pass him. Dobmeier got taken out, Ian nearly did while leading, and Super Chuck has noticed others having to nearly park it in the corners when passing him. Not sure if the car is that much of a handful or if he just can't hold his line.

Garrett improved greatly over the course of last season in the #2 car. Nobody has done well in the Vanderecken 10 in years. Not saying he is a great driver but I think the problem this season is a little more car than driver.
