Because I guessed before I looked, I had Sweet, Jac Haudenschild, Bobby Davis, Bobby Allen and Jason Meyers. I was close. I think all those guys are in the top 100.

Jason Meyers "retired" before he could post enough wins to make the list.

I don't even know if Opperman ever competed in a WoO race. Anybody know? I saw him in a race at Rapid City S.D. After his first wreck. It was late 70's , maybe the first year WoO started?

I think he was a regular with the WOO in their 1st year (#6 car?) but he was never himself after the accident.

I see how wrong I was after I looked. Thot I knew a bit more about him, obviously not.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Man up Chris. You got caught in a lie. Seriously, the chances of someone with your intellect guessing the next five in order are about one in fourteen billion.

Interesting. Now I'm going to have to do some research. When I saw him race, he was a non-factor in the local speedway's end of the year "outlaw open". I seem to recall when they interviewed him, he was most interested in talking about religion. He may have been an ordained minister at the time. He lead a church service at the track the morning of the race.

Not sure when the spirituality started but I believe he got heavily involved after he lost his brother Jay in a crash at Knoxville in the early 70. The first crash with head injury was in 76 at the Hoosier Hundred in Bobby Hill in Sr 's dirt champ car.
