NASCAR Cup racing has around 38 cars.... not enough for two different organziations going Cup racing on the same weekend in different parts of the country

Same with IndyCar, around 26 cars.... not enough for two organizations running IndyCars on same weekend in different parts of country

High Limit and the WoO have plenty of strong 410 teams to run on same weekend in different parts of the country WITHOUT hurting the overall sport.  I hope they can be humble enough to figure this out.

Run your schedules - but keep about 10-12  major events throughout the year as co-sanctioned and not hurt the overall sport.

One side of me has seen racing and the cars changing along with sanctions come and go for 63 years.  The other side of me is a creature of habit who is old, cranky and resistant to change.  Part of me says there are plenty cars to go around and another part watched car counts being split and WoO challengers going one and done in 1989 and 2006.

I was outspoken about some of the High Limit scheduling and it's affect on the WoO show close to home.  At this I have accepted that the Sprint Car world is going though more changes and we just have to ride it out and see what happens.  The streaming looks to be pretty awesome this year even if a few former WoO favorites are MIA at our local WoO shows that High Limit has scheduled against.  This thing is going to happen so staying frustrated by it is pointless.

i'm just tired of hearing about it.  maybe that's the marketing tactic to grow the sport.  keep the drama and controversy going so everybody can fill social media with their opinions and sprint car racing stays on the radar even in the offseason.  social media presence looks good to sponsors.  we probably asked for it because the alternative is whining about the racing itself.  bad formats, bad track prep, boring races, etc.  it's the same reason you only see wind bags on espn talking about aaron rodgers instead of shows that actually break down game film.  nobody is interested in the actual game or race.

Would we be talking so much about this if it was still called all star circuit of champions ? They and WRG scheduled against each other all the time.

"I hope they can be humble enough".... therein lies the problem.   Personally I hope High Limit falls on it's face and goes away.   Egos are the problem, and Sweet and Larson are banking on being such a big draw that they can topple the WoO.   It was never about giving the average racer mid week opportunities to race for more money, it was about Larson's opportunities.    Sprint car racing united is great.   Sprint car racing divided won't be nearly as good...

I could seriously care less about this. I know, I know, "Then why are you posting?? Lulz!!"

High Limit? Outlaws? Weekly shows? Whatever. I'll be there unless I'm fishing, camping, at the beach, doing work, (insert activity here). None of this makes a difference to me.

It's going to be fun when Kyle or Brad win a big WOO race.  And there's a pretty good chance that one of them will.  Maybe multiple.  I can't imagine the WOO bosses would be happy about that.  Lol.

Or maybe, just maybe, they're trying to prove a point. They saw the amount of streaming money brought in through the midweek shows, realized there is plenty more to be paid out to drivers, and want to do that. What WRG and Dirtvision bring in through streaming doesn't get distributed much at all, if I were a betting man. WOO LM and sprints are still 10K per "normal" show. You can throw a stick at any LM hotbed in the country and hit a local show paying at least that much to the winner. I know there are other variables, but you can't tell me they're not able to up that to 15-20K per "normal" show.

Also, why the limit? If these guys are going to commit to being at all WOO shows, and want to head to Port on a Sunday for the Weikert, or any other off night for that matter, let them.

I see nothing but problems and trouble for Sweet and Larson. Larson is part time, really part time and Sweet will have to carry the load--one driver? Not gonna work and by seasons end, lots of changes by next year.  Wouldn't bother me if they fall flat like two previous attempts to push in on the WoO.

But, but, but, but, but, but, but.........................I thought the WoO was just showing favoritism towards Brad Sweet for the past 4 years by giving him phantom cautions, extra time in the work area, and making sure he won the title......................he should be much, much nicer to the WoO.  They obviously love him to pieces!    :)

(I'd better say sarcasm, or someone will take me seriously)

Where do you people buy your crystal balls? - because you Outlaw homers sure have it all figured out.  Season hasn't even started, yet HL will:

- surely fail

- will fold before halfway of season one, or....

- will defientely fold after year one

- will have to cancel races because of lack of cars

- fail due to evil Sweet and Larson's greed

- fail because Sweet and Larson have no idea what they are are doing (becasue they have no experience in the racing industry)

- Horrible Sweet and Larson have poached the WoO employees just to be mean

Note: I just found my crystal ball. It says: HL will be very successful. Fans will attend/watch on Flo. HL drivers will love the option to race as many non-HL races as they want. Chase Raudman will be a great announcer (and he won't scream and screetch!).

And here is my grand finale crystal ball prediction: Sweet, Rico, Wise, Allen, Sunshine (assumpution), Larson (when he can run on an open Friday or Saturday) will win numerous WoO races by season's end  - maybe even Knoxville! Gravel, Macedo, and Schuhart arent going to beat those guys every time they show up.

I think the WoO points sheet this year had 1000 driver names? But there's only 26 you'd pay to watch race?

BINGO! I have said this all along, its simply the "big rat" and Larsons egos that this is based off of! Smoke and mirrors about giving the average racer better $$$$$ races. I hope it falls flat on its face too! The Outlaws will continue to get my support and my $$$$! They have been supporting and sustaining sprintcars for nearly 50 years, LONG LIVE "THE GREATEST SHOW ON DIRT" the World of Outlaws!  Been thru this before with USA sprints and hope low limits just fade away!

I don't see there being a problem with either series getting enough "full time" commited drivers for their series. The problem may be that where will the majority of "field fillers" go when they both have races scheduled  the same weekend somewhat close to each other?

I've always wanted to go to an Ascoc show but never have, never will. Being Canadian if I'm in a motel 6 and both series race within a couple hours of my location I would still pick the WoO because they will guarantee me a full field unless I'm in SD. If that scenario was in Ohio or Iowa or PA I would seriously consider the HL cause I'm confident enough locals would show up. Simply because I've never been to an AS/HL I might give it a little extra consideration but if I'm spending money to get there???? I'm gonna go for a full field and it's also been so long since my last WOO show Gravel Macedo and Schuchart are new to me

I think HL should have stayed in the center of your country. Another poster said Allen and Wise will win multiple races against the WoO this year, possibly????? Combined. 2 is multiple. I like Jacob but I doubt he's gonna hit his prime in the WoO races this year as a HL.

I see some greed with the bros-in-law. Appears the series is built around themselves but they won't be able to sustain that for long and eventually everyone wants to see new drivers. The increased regular purse is good for sure.

some good some questionable. Guys in Cali can race for 10,000 for two months. Has that happened before?

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I hate to use the word "greed" when talking about someone who is taking advantage of an opportunity.  Must be the same in Canada as it is here-----no one roots for anyone who is financially successful.  As soon as someone experiences success, it seems they are hated and greedy.  Sprint car fans have been complaining about WoO "greed" as long as I can remember.  I want the Outlaws to continue to make money----lots of money.  That keeps them on the road.  Time will tell if the HL will work out, but if it does, it will only work out because it is VERY profitable.  That's not greed.  That's business.

I hope WRG and HL are both very profitable this year and for years to come.  There's no reason that the Outlaws can't have a very successsful show in PA. on a Saturday night with HL having a very successful show in MO. on the same night.

Going forward, would just like to see them work together on scheduling to protect the top 7,8 premier events over the course of a season.
