While I'm certainly pleased that the open wheel drivers are starting to pick up rides with NASCAR or in B,C's case at Indy, selfishly I'd like these guys to stick around a little longer so us that love short track racing can watch them apply their talents to a short track in a midget or sprint car. Can't blame drivers for going where the cash is that is what they have worked for their entire life. Congratulations to Christopher Bell and his ride in Kyle Busch's truck and Rico for picking up a seat at Thor Motorsports.

All the more reason to get to your short track in 2016. The drivers that are lighting up the headlines may not be at the short tracks very long. My era we were fortunate to have seen the Steve Kinser,Sammy Swindell and Doug Wolfgang, Ron Shuman, Brad Doty, Bobby Allen and numerous other top notch talent by attending a WoO show.

Good luck guys, please come and run a sprint car midget show  if and when you can.

Just a reminder our radio show High Groove Racin' Motorsports Show is on tonight from 6-8 pm CDTon AM 1050 WLIP or on the web atwww.wlip.com please join us and talk racing by calling 262-694-1050.
