A buddy and I are thinking about heading down to the Chili Bowl for the Friday and Saturday night portion of the show. How good is the possibility of buying two tickets together from someone selling them out front for both Friday and Saturday night? They wouldn't have to be the same seats each night or anything. Just two seats together for both nights.

If that wouldn't work out there's always the backup plan of buying pit passes and getting a seat on the backstretch grandstand, but I believe a part of the track is blocked from view so that wouldn't be ideal. It's 360 miles from where we're at in north Missouri so I'd just like an idea of what we might be getting ourselves into before driving that distance without tickets in hand.

my wife and I drove down last ur for Thursday/Friday/Saturday. We sat on backstretch because of late arrival on Thursday. Then we attempted without success to buy 2 tix together for Friday/Saturda. We stayed on backstretc. it was fine but I have some advice for u. If u sit near the wild bunch , you had better have some thick skin. It gets pretty ruff back there. If ur ok with getting shot with tiny marshmallows and gummy bears you'll b fine. We r going back.

How did you like the view of the track from the backstretch?

It's not horrible by any means. Like any there r some seats better than others. Too far left n u can't see the board at all. Too far right u can't see turn 3 at all. It's tuff to get the REALLY good seats cause somebody has a hook up and is reserving their seats overnighT. I made the dash Saturday morning when the doors opened and there were already seats "tied down".
