Awesome Jeremy...loved this. You are back on my Christmas Card list now! I love the Cole Trickle/Days of Thunder/City Chevrolet helmet, and Paul McMahan's Brady Doty tribute helmet is beautiful.
One question (to Jeremy or anyone else) - what do these helmets that these top drivers wear/use cost? I'm talking just a brand new blank white helmet. $1,000? I'm sure the custom paint/graphics are several hundred more? Do they get a whole season out of them?

You can wear them as long as you want as long as they're not compromised. (Cracks, breaks etc.) But big name guys will use two or three different helments throughout the season. Some new Simpsons can cost a grand. Arai gp helmets are probaly the best imo, I think alan krimes uses one... They can range from $900 to $3,000. And they are slick. Most f1 guys use em. Check em out. Monza gp this weekend on nbcsn.
Qualifying 7am et Saturday
Italian gp 7am Sunday.
