Car count should be great, i can tell you, you will see some fast racing on a tacky track, no slip and slide around a dusty track like you will see at ________.

Don't miss this show, free camping, music after the races friday. gonna be fun!!!

Thanks for the info about the Classic. I was all set to go until I started reading all the negative crap about another track from your PR machine. Kinda ironic that your first year you stoop to attacking other tracks. You just turned off a good number of fans with a childish antic. When is Waynesfield's opener for 2008? They'll be getting my Sat. nite money from now on!

The hot rumor from Attica the past couple weeks has Waynesfield closing or dropping sprints in 08.

If rpm was talking about Fmont- he was just stating the obvious.

In Mr. Rudisell's defense, that "________" track he was referring to launched the initial attack on him when they purposely scheduled their "big farewell race" against the Fall Classic. I just love the politics of race promoting. We all win in the end, right? WRONG! That "other race" won't affect the car counts much, but it will steal some of the fans from L'burg and if I was Dave I wouldn't be too happy about that either. However, this is America and that other track can do as they please. They always do. There is no law that says they can't race when another track has a big event. Its a free market. Just remember that the next time you are whining about the decline of our sport and promoters not working together to grow the sport and it's "every man for himself". No use in fighting the fact that they will draw some fans and cars away from L'burg. This is not the first time they've scheduled a 410 race against another big race in the area (The Kings Royal comes to mind). It doesn't really matter. Its a done deal. Best of luck to them -- and to L'burg.

Is that Dave being Negative, ha ha, just kidding Dave (inside joke).

There has been some slipping and slidin' Dry Slickies at the 'burg as well this year, and the Wang cars will dry the track out.

Mr Swamp, before you worry about someone scheduling against the Fall Classic, maybe you should ckeck your own All Star Midwest schedule, they are running against themselves with two MASS races on September 14 & 15 in Illinois, about the same distance away from the'Burg as Fremont is. Some of those Illinois cars (and fans) may have also traveled to the Fall Classic. I realize this is a separate series, but there was a lot of crossover this year with ASCoC drivers running MASS and vise-versa.

Historically speaking - the event hasn't drawn cars or fans from that area in the past in the same way that it has from the Northern Ohio area. Like I said - best of luck with their race. Nobody had any agreements regarding that weekend - they are free to do what they want.
