I'm tryng to reach the new promoter at SFCS in Farmington, MO. Appartently, from the dry-slick hard track, his water truck is broke down. The track is eating up tires and the pitiful racing is follow the leader around the bottom. Does he need someone to come fix the truck or we can go rent one for him?

Brian Blair is pretty easy to get ahold of so this is coming from someone who doesn't go to the races at Farmington. Thevtrack was pretty good last week and we had some good racing to. Maybe whoever your getting your info from should just run Benton since I hear it's opening back up..lol

If I want to see sprints on a stock car track and take a dirt bath I'll go to Pevely!

Then new promoter is doing a good job at Farmington. Props to him for the efforts so far. But the OP is correct in that they need a little more water on the track. It doesn't need to be flooded and muddy but it can't be so dry and hard that it burns up tires. The local guys can't afford needing new tires every week and most fans don't like sitting in the dirt bath. I'm not necessarily saying make it muddier to start the night. Just a small dose of water during intermission might be all it takes. I'd like to see them try that.

I would have to disagree. I have made all but one show this year. The racing and surface has been very good. Only one night was it follow the leader and that was after a week of heavy rain. You must have been watching a different show then me last week. I saw multiple grooves with the leaders running the top. The NSL show was the best race I've seen in a long time anywhere in our area. As well I believe it was the highest car count to date for the NSL. They are doing a very good job and getting shows in when many tracks are canceling. I am very thankful we have a 410 track to go to. Last week they ran 410 sprints, UMP A mods, B mods, pure streets and 600 multies for a $5.00 ticket price. Good car counts. I find it hard to bitch.

I totally agree... Track prep, racing and promotion has been excellent. Easy to communication with promoters via Facebook. My only complaint has been them running sprints last on special shows, thus not taking care of their fans who have several hours drive home
