Rumor has it Williston is trying to put together a sprint car show Sept 19th and 20th. According to their schedule the races start at 7pm on the 19th and 5pm on the 20th so a person can get out of town a little earlier on Sunday night. We have not had a real good sprint car show up here since the early 80's. I am nothing more than a fan but would really like this to turn into an annual event with some extra incentives for the drivers. If we can get the car count up there and introduce people to sprint car racing the way it should be I think we could make this an anual event.  I will try to raise extra money and try to do some nice things for the teams. If we can get some cars out of the Western ND sprints along with the NOSA group plus cars out of South Dakota and Montana we could have a real big show. I will try to keep you posted but wanted to get the word out asap so you could put this on your schedule.

This was from the Western ND Sprints facebook page a couple of weeks back.

"Big news!!!! Sprint cars have been added to the Fall Roundup out at the Williston Basin Speedway, Sat. Sept. 19th and Sun. Sept. 20th. A big thank you goes to Rick Rogers and also the board of the Williston Basin Speedway for coming together and bringing sprint cars in that weekend. Stay tuned for more details".
