So 3 PA Speedweek races - with the two winners starting on the front row all 3 nights?

It was a BORING race!!!!  I sure hope the track is in better condition on Thursday night and there's some passing.  Running around the bottom of the track and NO passing, Zzzzzzzzz.

2020 Race Count:
Lincoln 4
Port Royal 3
BAPS 1

At least God Father Freddie had Path nice.  haha  I need to start commending all the folks that are perfectly happy even excited with dust in warm ups and a XXX skating off the front row tip toeing to victory.  People with extremely low expectations and values are certainly in the cat bird seat these days.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

my last planned visit to Lincoln will be this Thrusday...if the racing is "blocking" I will be looking for other things on race nights for the remainder of the season and waiting to read about the pathetic conditions and listen to the victory lane speeches that have turned into an epidemic of "boredom" by the racers / owners alike.

they too ktime to run inthe top of the track / but refused to put a drop of water on it...the decisions being made at the local tracks this year are a joke without the laugh track...

That was painful. No excuses for those horrible track conditions.  Lincoln should be honoring rain checks on those tickets for another race, cause I certainly didn't see one last night.

But of course it would be perfectly fine if it were a Maxim/Ford combination.

Lincoln was always the best in many peoples opinions, mine included.  From track prep, to racing to announcing, always my favorite in PAlookaville, what has happened????  BRR, I know you felt like that also, I sat with you a few times there....

things are NOT what they used to be...some people got up at lap 22 and started leaving...IMO the only mistake they made was not getting up at lap 6.

Wizz predicted it spot on when they ran the top in without a drop of water...ran all stinking week and we get a dust storm.

looking at my gig schedule on the calendar and not the least bit concerned about "missing a race" for the first time in decades...

People starting to leave at halfway....I left with 2 to go and couldn't believe how many cars already vacated the parking lot......

I only make it to Lincoln 4 or 5 times a year but its normally a good race...Has the racing been like this all year?  Didn't Dietrich win from 12th a few weeks back?

I'll give them a mulligan on this one...This is not typical of Lincoln Speedway....

Dirt Classic last year was similar to this, but that race had a lot of laps on the track.  This was a one division race.  They even used the water truck to run in the cushion, just nobody opened the valve.  Handicap races I've been to have been good.

Don't forget they didn't water the top side for the outlaw show earlier this year.  Follow that up with $25 general admission for the Dirt Classic qualifier. Thankfully I also have other interests than sprint car racing so its easy to just find something else to do on a Saturday night.

From what I can remember, the only person who made the bottom work before the rubber came was Henderson in the 360s. Was a pretty lackluster night, that's for sure.

You people are pretty brutal. I admit that last nights race was bad. One of, if not the worst i have seen this year.

But, 7 out of 10 races at Lincoln are very good. Top and a bottom with passing. and, 2 out of the other 3 are normally "ok". And then once or twice a year you get that one lane parade that you had last night.  Sometimes they water the top and make it as one lane as last night, but just around the top of the track instead of the bottom. That's what makes dirt track prep one of the hardest things to do in racing. Almost impossible to get it right 100% of the time.

In my opinion it wasn't the fact they didn't water the top last night but that the bottom was to good to start the race. Everybody went down there and dusted up the rest of the track. Little marbles that they couldn't get blown off to make a second groove.

It wasnt just track conditions. Lets face it, put Dietrich on the pole and even if the track's racey, the chances of him winning are still 75%. Would have been a better show with some racing back thru the pack, but chances are it would have been the same results. We will never know.

It's dirt track racing. Some great racing, and some not so great racing. Has been happening for the 40+ years i have been going, and to every track i have ever been to. I will still go back the next chance i get.

Dang Raz, the fact that you used to race there might give you a bit more knowledge than the keyboard wonders, shame on you for this enlightenment.  Great to see you post, hope things are going well in PAville....

I'd bet Kreitzer was behind the lack of water to save the race teams money on motors so they can run later in the week.

perhaps you should take to twitter and lecture the drivers...they posted their thoughts well before I even got home...
