May be a stupid question but ater hearing Sweet was leading points last night, i got to wondering if there was ever a season, where the previous years Rookie Of The Year, led, or won the point series the following year?

They haven't had a lot of different champions but I imagine technically, Steve Kinser would probably be R of the year his first year and won the championship the next year??
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.
