Or maybe you don't like real sports... but just fantasy sports. You have advocates too:
The Fantasy Sports Trade Association (FSTA) was founded in 1999 to provide a forum for interaction between hundreds of existing and emerging companies in a unique and growing fantasy sports industry. We serve the small, the large, the entrepreneurs, and the corporations as well as the visionaries, innovators, investors, advertisers, and sponsors that would like to network and learn more about the exciting fantasy sports industry.
Who is promoting the sport of Horse Racing? The NTRA Who's protecting motorcycles as both a hobby and sport? AMA.
Who is looking out for the long term health of our sport? Who can the media call for our side of the story when the sport gets hit with tragedy and horrendous headlines? Who is going to pay for research and advancements in car and track safety? Who is going to be there to protect us against environmental and noise regulations? Who's going to develop programs we can take to schools with fancy brochures and videos? Who is going to convince the masses that we are a cool, engaging and family-friendy sport? Who is going to convince someone to stop flipping channels when they come across one of our infrequent television broadcasts?
Someone... Anyone? Maybe the ball is already being held at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum and the rest of us need to convince them to run with it?
