Should bring in a good car count but I'm guessing this will pretty much kill off the 410s that are left in the NW.

I think the 40k was only going to be for the 40th running, but yeah. Payout has gone down from 25k a couple years ago. Just a guess but Steve probably lost a fair bit of money due to the weather problems the last 2-3 years.

Add this is a ASCS National race June 25, 26, 27. Then the next weekend they race at Elma, Grays Harbor July 3 and 4. But Oregon is having a Speedweek June 28 finishing at Cottage Grove with $5000 to win feature on the 4th of July.
So the way it looks ASCS is out of Oregon for 2015.

The cancer spreads and the purses drop. I guess its a fore gone conclusion you nut job 360 clowns will have your way and kill the 410 class. Like politics soon enough youll end up eating your own and youll be left with 305's. Steve cant pay the 25k anymore because he refuses to fix the dust bowl race track and who wants to eat dust all night, start to finish? Cant put people's butts in the seats with rain and choking dust. Therefore no people come and no money made for purses. Sad to see one of the great classic big time races fall this low. SAD.

410s, 360s, 305s, winged, non winged, it don't matter the only thing you'll see is dust and lots of it. Sad, but true.
