With Lincoln expecting 45 to 50 cars on Saturday and Selinsgrove paying 41000. for tenth, almost the same as Lincoln will any of the guys with 360s go to Selinsgrove for a shot at $10.000 to win and $5000 for second?
Great weekend in Pa.with all the invaders Friday this weekend is looking better than next (just two more Outlaw shows) !!!
Any news on Bad Chad rumer has him out of a ride? (Chip Car Done)?

Hopefully with most of 410 crowd at Lincoln for the big show there . The show for 360's should be a good one at Selinsgrove as well . I do hope that they get a good crowd and car count as well . And yes , the Chip car is parked and Mr. Middlesworth is out of business , so Chad has to look for another ride which are hard to find these days , as owners are dropping out like crazy . Costs are hurting all forms of racing , its no fun anymore , its all about MONEY !!!!!!

41000 for tenth? I think that would draw 150 + cars! ;-)

Middleswarth might be out of racing but he's not out of business, his snack biz is doing just fine. I was told by a crew member that the Middleswarth car would race again in 2015 similar schedule as this year, where did you hear they were done now, not saying your wrong but as of the Tuscarora 50 they were racing in 2015, This is not a matter of lack of funds believe me, the generation of Middleswarths running the business these days simply are not that into dirt track racing, not because they dont have the cash, pretty sure they could fund and race in nascar if they wanted to.

Sorry about the mixup, should give the $ key a key by itself. Woldnt it be great if that 4 was in there.
I will be at Lincoln but hope Selinsgrove has a good show also.
To bad they are against each other ,Last week the weather worked out that we got to Eldora Friday,Bush Creek Saturday and back to Eldora Sunday.
Saw Wilson was in the 1W at Susky hope Layton still has some ride we cant afford to lose more cars.

Thanks for reply , I want all tracks to survive , but it doesn't look good for car counts , and unfortunately we will lose more owners . I hope Chad and other available drivers find rides but it is bleak . There is not enough incentive for car owners . The business is money and cost driven now ,the fun is gone . All teams are trying to keep up with the top money teams . Its time for somebody to step up to do something NOW !!!

The "Middleswath hanging it up" rumor has been around about 10 years now so I don't take much stock in it. The team has cut back the last 5 years but the biggest shock to me was to not see the car at Selinsgrove 2 weeks ago, given this is Middleswarth's home track and one of Chad's faves. I think it was Dave Middleswarth a couple years ago who said he was in favor of putting toy motors in the cars if it saved him money. A lot of time and effort was put in by Shaver and Schatz to develop a cost effective sprint car motor with off the rack parts that put out HP somehwere inbetween a 360 and 410 at a much lower cost than a 360. It apparently was rejected by the sprint car world who has more money than brains.

The car is parked , and it was Mr. Middlesworth who did not want to race at Selinsgrove , as Chad did and was hoping that Dave would call and allow him to race . It may happen down the line that a less expensive motor does come into play , as teams can't keep going the way they are . Crate motors will be seen at non-wing races at New Egypt and Accord in New York , as there starting a new division at both .

I made the right choice last night by going to Selinsgrove , WOW WHAT A RACE FOR 360'S , only 34 cars , crowd not to good but , I give the track an A for track surface , and I hope that more people will support this track as they had a down year on crowds . It looks like fans are staying closer to home and many other variables coming into play when choosing where to go . Admission prices and more ? have a lot to do with it I suppose ?
