Tulsa Oklahoma (August 19, 2014)- Oil Capital Racing Series sprint cars are heading to south central Oklahoma this Saturday night to John & Nicky Webb’s Southern Oklahoma Speedway where OCRS will conduct their second and final event for 2014 at the 3/8-mile oval track in Ardmore.

Mustang Oklahoma’s Shane Sellers pulled off a last lap, last turn pass on April 26th at SOS to earn his second career OCRS A-Feature score. Sellers is coming off a third place effort in last Saturday’s inaugural running of the Oklahoma Open Wheel Thunder Nationals at the Salina Highbanks Speedway. Alex Decamp won his fourth A-Feature of the year at the Highbanks Saturday while Brian “B-Mac” McClelland chased DeCamp to the very end for his stake to be on the podium.

Cagle Motorsports driver Andrew Deal continues to sit in the second spot in the 2014 overall points chase for the coveted Harold Leep Championship Trophy behind the Tire Factory pilot, Danny Smith. The series is down to the final seven events on the OCRS racing slate. Deal finished two places ahead of Smith in last weekend’s main event and trails by 64 points (1236-1172). Neither driver has won an OCRS championship.
