Does anyone know what kept Steve from coming back after the wreck. It looked like all four corners were up on the car?

He was buried deep in the C on a narrow-fast race track. Without knowing what was wrong with his car, he probably decided it wasn't worth going back out.

From watching the YouTube clip it looks like the underside of Kinser's car got nailed pretty good. I assume they didn't want to risk going out with something broke under the car.
