What does everyone think? Will they wet that thing down so that the guys can actually race this year or will it be dry as f*k and terrible like last year? I realize that some people may say, they want it dry because these guys are not dirt racers, but I say give them a well prepared racetrack, and let them learn to race!

It was done that way last year on purpose, so I imagine that will be the case again. I'd like to see them race on a properly prepared track, but I was entertained by what they had last year.

I think with 150 laps its going to get dry and slick. I want good door to door racing with slide jobs and crossovers all around the track. Remember this is not sprint cars at Eldora.

Unless they take the windshields out of the trucks, it will be prepped to be hard and slick (unless mother nature gives it more water throughout the day), the water truck won't see the track again before Thursday I'm sure.
Tony basically stated that in a couple articles that they can't prep it wet and tacky (the trucks can't handle it and they can't set them up to run on it).

I hope they do it just like last year because that was one of the best races of the year.

Plus they're already practicing and they'll run on the track off and on all day. So the moisture is going to be pretty much run out of the track by the time the 150 lapper begins.

Until they yank the windshields out and run beadlocks they will run on a dry-slick surface. I am hoping for a little late afternoon rain shower just to make things interesting.

I'd have to say the Late Model show last night got her pretty sealed & nothing would soak in anyhow.
