We are leaving PA Tuesday night....is it likely to still get a camping spot at the track?  Any suggestions where to go? We will probably have a golf cart.

Any advice welcome!  Its our first trip out of hopefully many.

Thanks

You can't camp at the track (Drivers & Important people only), About 3/4 of a Mile North of the Track is the County Campgrounds, They may be able to set you up, Right next door to them (there is a Sprintcar up high on a pole) is Van Doslers Campground and he may be able to accomodate you. If they cannot they may be able to steer you in the right direction. I would call the Knoxville Raceway tomorrow and see about a Camping spot at the North Campgrounds before waiting too long. Good Luck

Van Donslers has open spots back by us the entire week.  Not a ton of them, but I would say at least a dozen or so?  I would say they can get you in.  Try them out.

The Marion county "north" campground also seems to have open spots too--stayed there for 10 years.  ?

If you can't find any there, look around town.  All kinds of "camping $25/night" signs in people's yards.
