yeah right. I've seen better this year. What about the race where Kreitz won by a Half an inch. The race was pretty boring up until 5 to go.

I was a little concerned when guys were just buzzing the top. It developed into a pretty good show with Dietrich and Montieth. If the bottom would have come around sooner — I think 30 laps would have been a more appropriate distance — it could have been a four-car race for the lead.

I agree with the 30 lap distance. Fans have been complaining all year about the lack of passing at the Grove. I've accepted the fact that with the existing rules and most teams having the same or similar equipment, we're not going to see tons of passing on a half mile track unless the cars get into lapped traffic. The best racing isn't always going to be at the front. Many of the best battles are thruout the field. Having said that, I've been to 2 races the past 3 weeks at the Grove. The first resulted in the closest finish in Grove history (.001 sec) and the second last night. Watching Dietrich and the Edge dicing through lapped traffic those last few laps were as exciting as it's going to get on a half mile ( the moves they put on Brady Bacon on the next to last lap down the backstrech were priceless...Brady looked like a Bacon sandwich). Then to top it off with a .190 sec margin of victory was icing on the cake. Can't ask for much more than that.
Never going to satisfy all fans. I saw a tweet last night from a fan who said it was a great finish on a 'so so' track. Another fan (a 358 driver by the way) congratulated the prep crew on a perfect racing surface....go figure!!

Seriously....
How about Susky last week? That was a great damn race.
Last night was good. A yellow with 5 to go and the 87 is on the frontstretch.

Yes Sunday at Susky, was a damn good race. The facilities there suck but the track produces some of the best races I've seen In PA. Wish Fisher would get his head out of his ass and bring back weekly racing Thrusday or Sunday nights.

Exciting A-main made up for dull heats & power outage delays.
Looking forward to Lincoln & Path Valley
Beautiful weather!

It's been proven time and time again that weekly racing on Sundays or Thursdays isn't gonna work; not enough cars or fans to support it every week. Once a month is do-able. Sucks there's only 2 days in the weekend. We need to do like Europe and go to a 35 hr work week, but fit it into 4 days. LOL

keeping fishers shows as "specials" insures good car counts. it was proven that thursdays dont work and im not all that sure the problems of the past have been forgot and forgiven. the special shows show the effort he puts in to get the racers and fans to come back....and makes him money. everyone seems happy with the relationship now.
