(PETERSEN MEDIA-Aptos, CA)- With a transition taking place at the Kings Speedway, the Prentice Motorsports Group and Placerville Speedway are excited to announce that the scheduled Civil War Series Presented By Flowmaster event on September 20th has been relocated to the Placerville Speedway.

“It is kind of a sad deal that is going on down in Hanford, CA but all of us are really excited to add another Civil War Series event at the Placerville Speedway,” Track Promoter Alan Handy said. “The series is off to a great start in 2014 and we are excited to have them back for an additional show, and are glad we could help out and keep the date on the schedule.”

With two races at the Placerville Speedway already on the schedule, a third event will offer an exciting penultimate event for the series on the famous red clay that always seems to provide excellent racing.

“It’s unfortunate what is going on at the Kings Speedway, but my entire staff is very thankful that Alan Handy was willing to bring us back for a third night,” PMG President, John Prentice said. “The Series had a great show there in May, and we are looking forward to getting back up to such a great facility two more nights.”

Still with a few weeks off, the Civil War Series Presented by Flowmaster will come back to life on July 5th at the Petaluma Speedway in Petaluma, CA.

In the most recent Civil War Series race at the Placerville Speedway on May 31st, it was Auburn, CA driver, Andy Forsberg wrestling the lead away from Andy Gregg before holding off Shane Golobic in a very exiting race.

In four races to date in 2014, The Civil War Series Presented By Flowmaster has seen four different winners.

The Civil War Sprint Car Series would like to thank Flowmaster, BR Motorsports, A.R.T. Speed Equipment, Brodix, ButlerBuilt, CRV Carbon Solutions, Design 500, Dirt Solutuion, Taco Bravo, Hansen Machine, Frankland Racing Supply, Fuel Safe, Hoosier, Joe Hunt Magnetos, Kaeding Performance, King Racing Products, KSE Power Steering Products, Pit Stop USA, MPD, All Pro, RCM Design, Rod End Supply, Racing Optics, SRP, VSR, and Weld Racing for their support.
