Have anyone else noticed the uptick in non-discussion based posts on this board lately?

It's gotten out of control over the past few years. Currently on the front page, of the 20 posts shown, 12 are non-discussion - either links to videos (some pay sites), news articles, press releases, classifieds, etc. That's 60% of the displayed content.

I don't want to have to to single anyone out but when one guy posts four separate posts to his site in succession, it's a little absurd. It would be just as simple to condense to one post and put all the information in there.

Maybe it's worth discussing sub-forums for this stuff. I don't mind most of the content but lately, it's been very annoying to have to sift through the large number of press releases, articles, and links to outside content to find actual discussion on sprint car racing. 

Maybe I'm wrong on this but felt it was worth saying.

I don't believe Alan pays much attention to the forum but I could be wrong on that. Just seems silly to have to dig through all the crap to find actual discussion content.

And yes, this is a non-discussion post but I don't really know how else I was supposed to bring it up. My apologies for being a slight hypocrite!
