My wife and I made it to our first race of the year at Burlington.  This is what I noticed.

McCarl was bad fast

I was very impressed with a young man who I will call, The High School Kid, Paul N.

If given the right breaks, he could be the next Kyle Larson

Dollansky was just consistant, not aggressive, not slow, just consistant

I want to thank Kevin Swindell, and Ian Madson, for putting on one hell of a show, in both the heat race and feature.  Those 2 made the night very exciting.  Those 2 raced each other so hard, you almost would have thought they were racing for the Knoxville Nationals.

I also want to thank 34 Raceway for not  running the sprints last.

If you can add Kevin Swindell, and Throw in Jason Meyers off and on before nationals, Knoxville Raceway weekly just got tougher, just  when you   thought it couldn't  have gotten any tougher.

The M.O.W.A. regulars are starting to get  faster and more aggressive since I have seen them last.(A year or 2 ago)

Is it possible for The High School Kid to race Osky Wed night?

Driving home, the tempature went from 73 degrees to 57 in about 10 mins.

I am glad the weather held out, and that we made the trip.

Jeff
