24-Race 2014 Red River Speedway Schedule Released
Wichita Falls, TX (2/18/14) by DarinShort.com. The massive renovations and improvements to the Red River Speedway near Wichita Falls Texas are quickly coming to conclusion, and today, track management is excited to unveil their 2014 racing schedule.

24 nights of racing are scheduled, and most events include Championship Sprint Cars, USRA Modifieds and Limited Modifieds. Rotating divisions of Factory Stocks, Pro Stocks, Mini Stocks and Mod 4's each have several dates confirmed.
Highlighting the schedule are special events for the USMTS Modifieds (Fri. May 16), OCRS Sprint Cars (Fri. May 30), Fireworks Spectacular (Fri. July 4), Demo Derby (Fri. August 1) and the ASCS Sprint Cars Lone Star vs. Sooner Shootout (Fri. August 22).
At least one post-season event is scheduled, with the first date being October 17th and 18th. Special event details will be posted at the track website later in the racing season.
A new track FaceBook page will also be coming very soon. Please be watching for an announcement.
Next up at Red River Speedway will be a practice night on Friday, March 21st. Any racing division car is welcome to come out and practice. Practice night pricing, pit gate and times will be announced in the weeks to come. A second practice night is scheduled for Friday, April 4th; with Opening Night set for Friday, April 11th.
Please make plans to attend the new Red River Speedway near Wichita Falls in 2014 - it's going to be an exciting season of fun and dirt track action!

March 6 Red River Speedway updates:
-There will be some schedule updates coming soon. Nothing major, primarily tweaking the additional racing divisions, most likely on April 25, May 23, July 4, August 1 and September 5th. The Sprint, Modified and Limited Modifieds already scheduled those nights should not be affected.
-THANK YOU to the 2,000 fans, racing teams and vendors for ‘liking’ the brand new Red River Speedway Facebook team that launched 2 weeks ago! We’re blown away by the strong support of seeing dirt track racing coming to the Wichita Falls area! Click www.facebook.com/RedRiverSpeedway to visit and 'like' the page if you have yet to do so...then you'll be the first to know all of the latest Speedway news.
-Craig and the track crew are still feverishly working on all of the last-minute details, and progress is moving forward on a daily basis.
-Coming soon will be the ability for drivers to register their cars for the season at the track website. A near-future announcement will be made, so be watching for it.
-Visit the track website at www.RRSpeedway.com for USRA driver forms to download and complete. Rules for all racing divisions are posted there as well.

3/17/14 UPDATE: The OPEN PRACTICE set for 3/21 at the new Red River Speedway has been REMOVED from the schedule.
Track and construction crews have been delayed by weather. The 'schedule' page at www.RRSpeedway.com has been updated to reflect this change.
