EGRAS, I tried sending you an e-mail, and it was spit back. For the Hawk game, I don't know your plans, but there is a place called the Park Tavern a couple of blocks away from the UC. The reviews online say free parking. When we went last week, we ate there and took their free shuttle to the UC. Maybe this is somethig you can check out. Nice place, full of Hawk fans. Have a great time.

Ducks are hot. Should be a great game......Went to my first game a week ago, and had a blast. If EGRAS has half the fun I did......It's Friday in Chicago, he should have even more fun than I.

Hey--thanks for the info. We hit a bar called Hawkeyes last time. We didn't use their shuttle, but they also have one. Tonight, we are staying at the Marriot about 1/2 mile away and they have a courtesy shuttle we are going to use. Going down to Giordano's for pizza first though. I will definitely keep the Park Tavern in mind for future events. It is good to have a bunch of options--especially for a country hick like me--I feel very out of place in the city!
I don't know how tonight's game is going to go--Ducks very hot right now! But, I expect a very loud, buzzing crowd. Should be an awesome atmosphere! I would expect the 'Hawks to bring their A-game! tickets going for playoff game prices right now on stub hub.

Just got back home! Holy crap--great game! Playoff atmosphere! Crowd was rabid and the 'hawks were pressing and relentless. Great to see them send a message to the 'Ducks. I can see these two teams possibly meeting in the playoffs and going 7 games! May be better than the Finals!

It was nail biting, I'll say that for sure. Good game on TV, and now knowing what it's like being there, I can imagine it was rabid. Glad you had a good time.

With the exception of the speed bump in Detroit, last year's Western conference playoffs were somewhat of a cake walk. This year will be different. St. Louis is definitely one of the teams to be afraid of.
(even if they are a bunch of thugs--LOL)

2 seconds of game play = 142 penalty minutes. Must be something between these 2 teams, the Flames coach sent out 5 of his 'enforcers' for puck drop, Tortorelli countered with his 5. Good thing, if the Sedin sisters would have been out there, we would have seen 2 pussies skatig away from it all.......One guy on the Flames was playing his first big league game and logged 2 seconds before getting kicked out. I love this game.....

Hey Maddog--heading into the game tomorrow night against Carolina. Not the sexiest matchup ever but still beats a sharp stick in the eye! Go Hawks! (great game against the Blues last night, but at a price!)

It was a great game, and they needed to assert some authority to he Blues and they did. I think they will be okay wihout Kaner, now if it was Toews, that would suck. Have a great time. I am jealous.......
