Brandon Wimmer – Putting the Hammer Down in 2014!

(Bill W) December 11, 2013 – The Hammer Motorsports #24H team and driver Brandon Wimmer will be teaming up for the 2014 season.  The team’s schedule will be similar to the past few seasons, with opportunities to expand depending on additional partnerships.

For the Fairmount, Indiana sprint car driver, this is a golden opportunity to compete in the Midwest.  “I’m really excited to be teaming up with Hammer Motorsports in 2014,” says Brandon.  “Randy and Lisa run a top notch organization and I’m proud to be a part of their team for next season.”

Brandon is enthused about the family atmosphere surrounding the #24H team.  “We ran a couple of times at the end of 2013, and I’m excited to be racing for them in Ohio and around the Midwest next season,” he says.  “One thing I really like is that Hammer Motorsports is a family operation.  Randy and Lisa own the team, and their son Aaron wrenches on it.  It’s a really good fit for me.  It’s really the first family operation I’ve been a part of since I ran my own car.”

Co-owner Randy Hammer is hoping to add a few more partners that will allow the team to expand their schedule.  “We have a set schedule, but we’d like to build on that depending on the help we hope to pick up,” he says.  “We’re not opposed to opening up our schedule and running more races and traveling a bit.  We’re excited about the possibilities.”
