What a childish comment....especially the "hater's gonna hate." Both Schatz and Pittman have run the full schedule. I believe Pittman is the points leader. If you don't like the point structure of the traveling circus buy them out and change it to fit your personal liking!

Certainly they have a right to comment but do you have to add such things as "haters gonna hate" to make your point? I don't think so.

I don't like the modern usage of "haters" either. That should be reserved for people like the KKK, not people who don't root for the same racer.
But nevertheless, point system is screwy. I'm not a Schatz fan, but if anyone deserves championship, its him.
Now if the whole purpose of points is to spread the $$$ around more evenly, thats a whole different story. Maybe they should all it a "consistency bonus" rather than "Championship"

Schatz has been more consistant, pittmams average finish is 6.0 schatz, 5.6 only thing Pittman has schatz beat in is time trials

I Agree, based on overall performance, pittman deserves the campionship in this points format, but in my opinion too much is based on Qualifying, this is sprint car RACING, not sprint car Qualifying, should be more important to win races and finish in top 5 or 10, and this is coming from a long time Pittman fan, not a Schatz fan. Basing this on a totaly nuetral view.
